Chapter 01
~hello again~

7:45 am

"El we're gonna be late for opening come on!" Max said snatching off the bedsheets. El whined, sat up and gave her a annoyed glare before snatching back the sheet's and laying down. "El no!" Max said pulling on it to get it back but El wouldn't let go. "Max please!" El begged. "NOo-AH!" Max yelled snatching back the sheet's a bit to hard giving her and El a one way ticket to the ground.

They both laid out on the floor tired from their wrestling match when they heard the phone ring making El and Max get up at their feet. "How did I bring the phone home?" El mumbled to herself before picking it up. "Eve's, how can I help you?" El greeted. While El was busy writing down their order Max was busy picking her out an outfit for the day. "Ok, bye."  The brunette hung up the phone after getting their order.

"Be dressed in ten." Maxine said walking out her room. El looked over to her bed to see what Max displayed for her. She had light black denim, a dark brown sweater, and her converse. She packed her toothbrush and taste and slipped her glasses on and ran out downstairs. Her dad sadly wasn't downstairs to send her off but he left her a note telling her to have a good day at school and he'd see her tonight. She took a small pack of Oreo's out the pantry and went outside.

Mike huffed in pain when he woke up. His knees stung every time he moved them. Last night when he came home his mom had asked what happened to him since he'd walked in with blood stained shoe laces. He told her he'd fell since he didn't feel like explaining the whole story. All he wanted to do was go to bed.

"Mike, I left pancakes, bacon, and eggs on the stove I've got to get to work." She said going over to his side to give him a hug. "Oh, and can you please pick up Holly from school for me please drop her off at aunt Judy's." She kissed him on the forehead before speed walking over to the door. "Yeah it's no problem." He said. "Love you honey, have a great day at school, bye!" She said smiling and closed the door on her way out. "Love you too!" Mike said.

Hawkins high
9:15 am

El and Maxine had just arrived at school since they'd gotten a new delivery for inventory they spent the last hour unboxing and stocking. There were a couple of kids outside in the parking lot. Some where sleeping in their cars, eating, or taking smoke breaks."Do we take classes together today? I can't remember." El asked rubbing her temple in attempt to wake herself up a bit more. "Never mind actually I'll find out later." El said. "You feeling ok?" Max asked noticing something was definitely off about her today. "My heads been hurting since I got up and I can barely breathe." El responded breathing out through her mouth. "Maybe you've got a cold or something." Max implied. "Maybe." El agreed.

Once they got into school they went their ways onto their classes. "Good morning, everyone so your test scores have came back and some of your averages have went up so some of you guys will be put into Mr. Clarks room. And just a reminder it's totally fine if you don't get put into Mr Clark's class it's not the end of they world and it doesn't mean your dumber than the people who go." Their teacher clarified. "At the end of this period I'll be passing out everyone an envelope which will tell you if you'll be staying here or moving. Alright?" She finished giving them a warm smile. "Other than that today we'll be working on-
