💙 ~ Chapter 6 ~ 💙

- Xiao's POV -

I felt uneasy about this Tartaglia guy being close to Y/n.. He just gives me a bad feeling like if he is going to get in my way..
Almost like a challenge..
But I needed to get along with him to keep my composure in front of her.

"Ah- It's nice to meet you! You must be Xiao?" Tartaglia said in a very fake enthusiastic tone.

"Oh, yes!.." I replied.

"Y/n talks about you quite often!.. It seems you two are pretty close..." Tartaglia said.

'What? Y/n talks about me a lot?!'
I contained the urge to smile at the thought of it.

A voice suddenly snapped me back to reality.

"Xiao, are you okay? You're zoning out.. did you not sleep well?" Y/n asked me with a worried look on her face.

"A,ah.. no I slept very well, thank you! Don't worry about me!.." I said.

[ Time Skip ]
- Lunch -

It was so annoying how at lunch time Tartaglia was allowed to eat with us.. It was usually just me and Y/n but now it was different... All of her attention was on him!

'Well things will probably be different tomorrow right?..

[ Time Skip ]
- Two weeks and a half later -

Wrong..

At this point I'm so fucking mad at him! I hate him so much he's trying to steal her away from me!

He doesn't deserve your godly eyes to gaze upon him! I do! I deserve your attention! NOT HIM! I DESERVE your touch!!

I can feel myself getting worked up so I just stare at Y/n's beautiful features which calms me down straight away.

[ Time Skip ]
- End of the day -

After slipping a note in Y/n's locker I follow at a good pace from far enough to keep watch as Tartaglia walked Y/n back to her house, once I see that she is safe in the comfort of her home I start to walk to my house, it's quite far from out of the city so it takes a while to arrive.

After about a half of a mile of walking I hear someone speed walk to approach me from behind, I didn't want to give away that I knew of their presence so I start to walk in the wrong direction to my house, they soon were just close enough to whisper in my ear. They grabbed my shoulder and I stopped walking. I turn my head slowly towards the person and am met face to face with Tartaglia.

Before I had the chance to say anything he brought a knife to my throat and said.

"Y/n is mine, so back off.. I was here before you.. I have had my eyes on her before you! So stop looking at her the way you do!"

I sighed.

"And here I was thinking I could make your death quick and pain less..." I said in a playful manner while summoning my spear in my right hand.

"Wh-WHAT?! STAY BACK! DO YOU H-HEAR ME?!? I SAID STAY BACK!" Tartaglia said with his now shaking voice as I held the spear up neer his throat.

"Stay back? Ah ha ha~ Why? Weren't you the one who came up to me in the first place?" I answered in a almost whispered voice before grabbing his knife in one swift motion.

I gripped Tartaglia's neck with my left hand and put one of my feet behind his then pushed him to the ground.

-Thud!-

I took the knife and stabbed him in the chest. Tartaglia griped his chest that was now oozing with blood.

I waited for his body to stop struggling and squirming around then I took his hands and placed them around the knife in his chest to resemble as if he had just stabbed himself, I quickly picked up his corpse and through it off of the cliff.

I tried to leave behind no evidence at the crime scene other than blood that could lead anyone back to me.

Once I was finished I ran off back home and washed up.
