You wake up and get ready for the day. Once you are ready to leave you grab your stuff, look in the mirror one last time to make sure you look approachable, and then leave.

[ At school ]
You walked through the entrance and noticed Xiao sitting on a marble bench staring at his phone.
"Xiao!" You shout.
The sudden noise startled him a bit, but when he realized who had called him he gladly put away his phone and walked over to you with a happy expression.
"Did you sleep well last night??" You asked.
"O,oh, yes I did" He replied.
"So, what class do you have first today Xiao??"
"Teyvat History, what about you?" He asked.
"Omg same!!" You say excitedly.
Without wasting any time you pull him by the hand and head off to your class while talking about off-topic subjects.
-Xiao's POV-
"So, what class do you have first today Xiao??" Y/n said in her usual enthusiastic tone.
"Teyvat History, what about you?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"Omg same!!" She said.
Suddenly he feels a soft hand take his and starts to pull him along, a light blush appeared across his cheeks when he saw that none other than you were the one holding his hand. While she talks of off-topic things all that he could focus on was how abnormally fast his heart is beating.

[ Later that day ]
- Readers POV -
"Finally lunch-.. wanna go get a quick bite to eat to tie us over till dinner time?"
"I don't see a problem with that." He replied.
- Time skip -
[ Back at school after eating ]
"Alright I have language next, what about you Xiao?"
"The same for me too." He answered.
"Woah... That means that we will have the same classes all semester, what a coincidence!?" I say excitedly.
"Yeah! What a coincidence..."
- Time skip -
[ After classes ]
You and Xiao are finishing your homework in the library and about an hour later you leave to go to his house to help him finish his unpacking.
The walk was pretty enjoyable, the harbor was very lively and the smell of Liyue cuisine was in the air. Around 20 minutes later you arrived with Xiao at his place.
You enter one after the other, take off your shoes, and go get some water for you and Xiao because all that walking made you pretty thirsty.
You returned with the water and gave him his glass and sat down beside him and talked for about ten minutes then finally you both decided to finish unpacking.
And time seemed to pass quite quickly because before you knew it you were both done with all your unpacking.
It was around 7 PM and you finally decided it was time to return to the comfort of your home.
"Alright, Xiao I'm going to head back to my house now!"
Xiao's expression slightly changed when hearing you speak those words but it was barely noticeable.
"Alright then, please stay safe!" He said.
He then proceeded to watch you from his window walk away till you were no longer in sight.
Although it wasn't very noticeable, very very slowly each day that passed this strange feeling towards you only seemed to grow stronger.
