8. The Caller

Jungkook's pov.

No one really knows exactly what is going on. Why the sudden change? What is the reason behind this? This time she has wings, a black one. But it was our pets' behavior that startled us the most. They started acting aggressively. They had an urge to attack her, but something was stopping them from doing that. I tried to approach her, but I couldn't. It was like something was protecting her. An invisible shield.

'We should do something' Karina said looking really worried. Suddenly Felix came in between us out of nowhere. 'She's a lot stronger than we thought,' he muttered as he prepared to tackle her.

I suddenly remembered how she had returned to her old self the last time. It was because of Kevin. 'What if I have an impact on her as well?' I thought and moved forward, more closely to her. Felix tried to stop me. Let me try,' I said, approaching her and hugging her tightly. She cried louder, but I didn't let go of her. I remained where I was, clutching her even tighter. Slowly she started to turn back. She fainted on my hand. Our pets also calmed down after that.

'How did you do that' Jimin asked. 'Let's take her to bed first' I said, carrying her own my hands. I lied her down on bed. Karina sat beside her while checking her to know is there any reaction of 'turning' on her body. 'There is only a scratch, which was most likely got when playing with the cat.' Karina said.

'Probably that's why the sudden change happened.' Jimin expressed his doubts. 'If you think at it that way, there is a chance.' She is not a human, as far as we know. Maybe our pets will have a huge effect on her.' Karina stood by Jimin. I wasn't thinking anything other than the fact that I, too, had a place in her life. This time it's because of me that she's calmed down. Should I be relieved about it or concerned about the possibility that she isn't human? Jimin got in the way of my thoughts. He asked; why aren't you saying anything?

Suddenly, a thought came to me. What do you mean when you say she's stronger than we expected, Felix? And where have you been all this time? I asked. 'I was afraid, so I returned to our world. Actually, Keres advised me to be careful if y/n is evil, and she also instructed me to go back after confirming her evilness.' Felix replied.

'So you are keeping secrets from us' Karina said and glared at him. 'We are on a mission and we need to stick together to accomplish this' Jimin said supporting Karina. Y/n waked up as they pointed out Felix's faults one by one.

'How do you feel? Are you all right? I asked her being concerned. What happened to me? Did I passed out? She asked. 'Yes you did' Karina replied her. 'Maybe I was exhausted from all that happened last night.' Y/n said and tried to stand up, but Karina didn't let her to. You should sleep, I said and patted on her head. Slowly she went back to sleep.

At the same time at hospital,

'He fell asleep' Irene was talking to someone on phone. 'Did you find anything?' the person on the other side asked. 'Not yet. I will find out that soon' she replied. 'And one more thing, I think those two guys who were in the hospital were wizards. I felt something strange when I'm around them' Irene expressed her doubts. 'It will be more fun if they are from the witchcraft world,' that person said before hanging up.
