It's Monday again and you're standing outside the school
You pull out your phone with a notification from Billie
B: Turn around x
You turn seeing Billie holding a bouquet of yellow and pink roses
"Hey mamas" she says giving you the flowers
"What's all this?" you look at her baffled
"I meant what I said" she stares deep into your eyes
"What do you mean by that?" you ask beginning to get dizzy for confusion and embarrassment
"I love you Y/N" she says dead serious still piercing your soul with her ocean eyes
"B-Billie!" you choke on your word pulling her closer to you to whisper in her ear "You can't say that"
"Why?" she asks defensively "Am I not allowed to tell the person I love that I love them?"
"Billie, not everyone is very supportive with this sort of stuff, OK?" you say in a loud whisper worried about what people might think
"Y/N are you uncomfortable with me telling you I love you?" tears start swelling in her eyes
"No, it's just that-"
Cutting you off "That you don't feel the same way" she storms off crying
"Billie wait!"
You follow her into the bathroom
"Billie, listen"
"No you listen, I confessed to you and you just brushed it off like it meant nothing, like I meant nothing" she breaks down after punching a hole on the wall
"Billie" you kneel down next to her cradling her in your arms "Of course you mean something to me it's just that not every is gonna be comfortable with gay relationships and you're still with Jake, I don't want people to think bad of you"
"I really did mean it" she says burying her face into your chest
"I love you too" you pull her chin up kissing her while wiping the tears form her face "Don't cry, beautiful, seeing you like this makes me upset"
You put your forehead against hers as you lift her onto her feet
"Billie your hand!" you say gently lifting her arm
"It's fine" she pulls her arm away wincing in pain
"Come on I'll take you to the nurse" you wrap your arm around her in a side hug and walk her to the infirmary
"This brings back memories" you laugh as she sits on the bed
"What me being a bloody mess while your sitting there absolutely fine?" she chuckles
"No I was gonna say us eating vegan peanut butter cookies but if you don't want any" you say with a slight giggle pulling a paper bag from your rucksack
"You got the cookies again!" she says excitedly
"I just really fancied them" you say slowly opening the bag teasingly
