Warnings! This fanfic is my authorship, however the idea came after reading the @/izzyflyn fanfic (on wattpad), so I wanted to thank her mainly for publishing her stories, because she helped me write this beauty here. I also have to thank @/8balldoodies on Twitter because her art and fanfics also brought me a lot of inspiration, as well as @/KagamiCiel, she is my favorite artist and deserves all the pampering in the world. Sublime
The festival was lively, and the atmosphere contagious.
You could see people dancing on a makeshift dance floor – Robin and Nami were there, enjoying themselves to the sounds of Latin music – there were trinkets and food stalls – which was where most of the group was.
Except Kid and Killer, they had disappeared a few minutes ago and everyone knew what they had gone to "stuff".
Usopp discussed with Franky and Chopper what they should take from that tent, making the attendant confused between serving them or the other people who stopped by.
Law, Luffy, Sanji and Zoro were in a spice stall, Law prevented Luffy from trying to take everything — mainly because he knew he would try to eat everything in a few minutes and also because he didn't even know the use of those colored powders inside the plastic bags.
Sanji fought with Zoro every two seconds for the risk of him getting lost while Roronoa fought with the blonde because he also wanted to take all the spices — his best excuse was that they didn't spoil, although the salesman warned every time those words appeared that everyone the products had an expiration date.
Brook – and Jinbe who was just accompanying each other – had gotten lost among the bands playing the songs.
— No, but we can take the canned. — Sanji tried to argue amid the turmoil. The salesman had given up on them and was serving a girl who was next to them. Meanwhile Zoro looked at the small onions inside the canned jar.
— I'm hungry, let's come back here later. — Luffy's voice was muffled by the music.
— How about you two go get something to eat and then we'll meet you? So, the cook can decide something. — the suggestion – which sounded more like a divine proposal to Law – came from Zoro, still concentrating on the contents of the glass in his hand. He had an expressive face of boredom, but he seemed willing to go shopping with his mate.
Luffy didn't wait long enough to hearing another opinion and headed towards the pastries – although the skewer stall was also attractive. He walked steadily to the store, trying all the way to read the menu.
Law ran after the younger, leaving behind the two brawlers who were in a strange and quiet peace that was never questioned.
Luffy had noticed that there was no room in the tent for him and his friend to eat, so as he finally saw the menu, he also thought about where he had seen other places to sit.
— Torao, what do you want? – the youngest asked as soon as he felt the presence of the other on his side.
— A meat one. — his reply came after seeing what was the simplest thing on the menu, that was stamped on the bottom of the tent in big letters.
