A/N: finally... chapter 4 is out . sorry for the wait guys i had school stuff to do. well, to whoever likes this story, enjoy the long waited chapter i guess. :)

There isn't any way. Just, maybe a couple weeks ago, I met Bambi. Having... feelings for him had to be wrong, right? It probably wasn't this, this couldn't be the case. This was something that Dave had been thinking about ever since he and Bambi's last phone call together. He didn't know about having feelings for him though. Sure they were good friends and they appreciated each other and stuff but... having feelings? It didn't feel right, but at the same time, it did. As these thoughts were running through Dave's mind, a text message came in on his phone. Dave saw that it was from Tristan. (He had gotten him a phone since the last chapter). Dave had to admit to himself, he did kind of sort of wished it was from Bambi, but that's besides the point.

<Tristan> DAD

<Tristan> DAD

<Tristan> DAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!

<Dave> what's wrong, Tristan?

<Tristan> hi :)

What a way to waste 5 minutes of my time... Dave thought to himself. He hoped he wouldn't have to deal with this now. Sure Tristan was excited he got a phone, but he was a room away from Dave, he didn't need to do this. The only reason Dave was up right now was because Tristan texted him. It was Monday, probably the worst day of the week. He had an hour before he had to get to work, which was teaching, and 20 minutes before he had to drop off Tristan at school. Dave wished the schedule wasn't so tight, but at least he made an average amount of money. He wondered how Bambi got money, if he even had money, and then quickly realized he was thinking about him again. "I mean, it's normal to think about your friend right?" Dave said to himself. He tried to focus on what he needed to do to get prepared to start his day. What does Bambi do all day?  He was doing it again. He sat up from his bed and dug his face in his hands. Maybe I do have feelings for Bambi... No. There wasn't any way. Bambi was probably straight. Dave was straight... At least he thought he was. He didn't know how to handle these feelings. He had never experienced this before, and there wasn't really anyone who knew how this felt that he could talk to. Everyone he ever met was straight. He could tell, but this feeling was new to him. Sure he had had his share of female crushes before, so he completely thought he was straight, but after he met Bambi, he felt... different things started to question himself. So he did what anyone would do if they were wondering something like this... He grabbed his phone, opened up his web browser, and tapped the search bar, and he typed something anyone would type for this kind of thing; am i gay.

Oh yeah. Great way to solve this problem, Dave. He thought to himself. Lots of results showed up all at once, and the first result that showed up, was a quiz. He gave a blank stare at the link, thinking to himself if this was really the right thing to do. Just as he was about to tap it, Tristan barged into his bedroom. "DAD DAD DAD!" Dave got startled and tossed his phone right next to Tristan. Oh god. Dave thought to himself. "DAD I JUST FOUND THIS COOL GAME CALLED ROBLOX AND I NEED THIS THING CALLED... UH, ROBUX AND I WANT SOME AND I ALREADY GOT 65 FOLLOWERS AND 196 FRIENDS!!!" Dave was barely paying attention to anything Tristan was saying, his eyes were only fixed on his phone, which was still open on his search. "WELL DAD? CAN I GET ROBUX PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE??!!" Tristan's face was still staring at Dave, but Dave was still looking at his phone on the floor. His phone; face up, showing the screen, right next to Tristan's foot. Dave would do anything just to get Tristan away from his phone, and just out of his room in general. He didn't want to have to answer any of Tristan's questions about this topic. At least not yet.

"CAN I CAN I PLEASE DAD I'LL PICK UP MY CLOTHES FROM MY ROOM!" Dave already picked up Tristan's clothes, but he wanted him to get away from his phone as soon as possible. "U-uh, sure Tristan. Just hurry up and go." Tristan gave Dave a stare like he had just kissed a guy in front of him. "Dad... you need to put in your credit card information AND you have to verify your account." Great. How much longer can this take? Dave thought, a bit angrily to himself. Tristan walked over to Dave and gave him his phone. Dave put in his email to verify it, forgetting that it sent an email to his phone, almost directly after. *ding* "Don't worry Dad! I'll get your phone for you!" No no no no no no no no no-... Dave's eyes widened as Tristan turned around to pick up Dave's phone. He started sweating as Tristan bent down and the small device. He stared at the screen for a bit, looking confused at first, but then he got an expression on his face that looked like he realized something. "Dad...? Why did you look this up?" Dave's eyes darted all over the room, trying to avoid eye contact with his son. "Dad?" Tristan asked again. Dave looked down at the floor, at himself, and back at Tristan. "W-well, Tristan, as you know... I have been, hanging out with Bambi..." Tristan didn't look shocked, just surprised. "You mean, Mr. Bambi? The one who likes corn?" Tristan asked, with an intrigued look on his face. "Yes, Tristan. Him." Dave started sweating a bit more, knowing that if he stopped talking about this, he wouldn't let it go until he explained everything. "But... why does this have to do with what you looked u-" Tristan suddenly stopped talking. He figured it out... didn't he...? Dave said to himself in his head. Tristan looked at Dave's phone, then looked up at Dave. Then kept looking back at the two until his eyes widened. "Dad... do you... like boys??" Tristan's voice got more high-pitched as he figured it out more. Dave had never thought anyone would ever ask him something like that, let alone his own son. "W-well, more specifically..." "Mr. Bambi?.." Tristan cut him off. "Yes." They were both quiet, then Dave's eyes widened as he remembered that he should have dropped off Tristan 10 minutes ago. "TRISTAN! YOU NEED TO GET TO SCHOOL." "Ok." Tristan said in the most nonchalant voice ever. "Why aren't you rushing??" Dave said alarmed that he was late. "All of my stuff is ready already, Dad. Can I walk to school today?" Dave did not trust Tristan at all with this, but he had no time to bring him to school on time at this point. "Ok..." "And Dad?" Tristan started. "We're talking about this after school." Tristan said this like he was Dave's parents or something. Tristan walked out of Dave's room and out the front door, and then suddenly, once again, it was quiet.

Dave remembered that he needed to be at his job in about 10 minutes, but he decided to go right now. As he headed to the school, he kept thinking about what had just happened. He wanted to talk to Bambi. He wanted to tell him how he felt, hoping he would feel the same. But what if he didn't feel the same? What if he hated him after that? It was too risky. But... what if it went well? There were so many different possibilities that could happen. His thoughts stopped running through his mind after he got to the school. Things went on in the classes as usual, like it always happens, every day. Today felt longer than others today for some reason, but he was just glad to get back home.

As Dave was coming back from work, he passed by Bambi's farm, seeing Tristan standing near there, with someone right next to him. It wasn't the normal height for someone though. Then Dave realized who it was. It was Bambi. Tristan noticed Dave and told Bambi that Dave was here. They both walked over to Dave and Dave slowly inched his way towards them. Tristan stopped halfway, but Bambi kept walking. Eventually, the two were right in front of each other. Dave looked at Bambi. He didn't look mad, but he wasn't exactly ecstatic to see Dave, Tristan probably told him. Dave wasn't really happy to know that Tristan had told Bambi, but now it finally came up again. Hopefully it won't turn out horrible.

                              "Dave... Tristan told me."

                              "Bambi, I'm-"

                                                                        "Don't be sorry."
