50.Grief

When Namjoon met Yuto the first time ,he was tricked by the spot on acting.

Yuto acted like he wanted to kill Seokjin which was a total bullshit.He was trying to figure their relation, how deeply they were connected.Namjoon thought he was the luckiest that day ,Yuto didnt tried anything and he never saw the Vampire for a whole year until he saw him again in the Castle.

Namjoon should have known, something was terribly wrong with how Yuto didn't fight back or tried to make small talk.It was as if he was wanting to escape but Seokjin caught him.Namjoon should have checked the dagger again,he too would have understood it's a fake one .He didn't.That was his first mistake.

Hoseok and Namjoon when came to Seoul, they lived in a smaller apartment in their initial years. It was useless to get two when none of them were dating or having any plans to start a family anytime soon.Besides Hoseok would be gone most of the time on sites ,they didn't felt the need .

As time passed by ,both of them got successful in their fields and decided to go for a bigger and well furnished one in Gangnam.It was their second apartment together with both acquiring equal ownership rights.It should have changed when Hoseok left the apartment to live with Jungkook.

The latter had asked to transfer the ownership to Namjoon entirely but Namjoon had denied.It was theirs from the beginning and why would he want to change that .

It wasn't a mistake but that lone decision was what lead to Hoseok's death.Yuto was bluffing again.He didn't needed the passcode in first place.It was just an act he performed for his own entertainment. Seokjin had mentioned, when the owner permits ,is the only way Vampire's can enter .Or when the owner dies.Namjoon knew it well ,so did Hoseok.

He doesn't understand how Yuto managed to enter their apartment
but Yoongi didn't found any locket on Hoseok so Namjoon didn't had to guess anymore.

But if he was prone to compel,why would Yuto kill him.For his entertainment, Seokjin had told sadly.Namjoon only felt more guilty .

It was all his fault.If he had listened to Hoseok that time,Yuto wouldnt have gone after him.

Seokjin had told him. Namjoon wanted so badly to believe in it too.But he couldn't.

The atmosphere in the apartment was somber and that was expected.Namjoon woke up after a while ,his temperature went down sporadically to Seokjin's relief.Taehyung and Yoongi went back, begrudgingly. They had to update everything to Sujung after all.

Namjoon wasn't any better when he heard about Jungkook's death.He was half expecting Jungkook would let himself turned ,but he also knew that wasn't what he would have wanted.

The lingering silence of mourning was too much for Seokjin although he had the feeling accompanying him for all his life.

"I have to"
Namjoon had muttered crying in his shoulders when Yoongi had asked if he wants to hold the funeral.

He was certainly stable now,the physical injuries long healed ,but Seokjin wasn't sure how long will it take for him to be emotionally fine.He has few things in his mind.But he decided to see how far Namjoon can cope.

But currently he still have to monitor the latter .7 hours to go.Although he was sure he won't be leaving Namjoon's side anytime soon.

"Namjoon,it's not your fault"
Seokjin shakes his head ,raking his fingers through his hairs .

"No.I am talking about me the other day .I shouldn't have said that.I was just "

"You were upset and you had all the rights to be.I am not going to say it didn't hurt but I understand"
Seokjin said honestly.

Namjoon craned his head to look at the pinched expression, swollen eyes .Seokjin didn't looked like he moved at all.Still dressed in the same clothes he was last night.Except his jacket was thrown on the chair .
