Year 1773,

Adrenaline coursed through his veins,a thin layer of sweat covering his nape as he kept pushing harder ,keeping his breath steady .A creak and he stills ,chills running down his spine as he waits for any movement but he felt nothing.

That didn't ease his mind ,breath coming in short gasps and all the blood rushed to his limbs and he sprints facing forward,barely able to see the ground in front of him,breath sharp and frantic ,eyes filled with tears as he kept pushing himself towards the town.

"Jaejoon"
A breathy voice fall on his ears , a scream ripped off his lungs and he skid to a stop ,the creature's red eyes flashed into his and his blood went cold.

It was dark for a second ,everything that came after it was in blur and he found himself panting ,hands leaning against a wall.

"Joon?
Seokjin frowns ,tilting his head and recognized the figure as his fiance.

"Joon! How are you back so early !"

Jaejoon looks up to the descending figure and smiles ,opening his arms for Seokjin who fall into the embrace, squealing when he was lifted above the ground .

"This is the best surprise ever!"
Seokjin beams ,smooching kisses all over his face.

"I got the buyer soon ,the deal is done"
Joon snakes his hands around Seokjin's as they walked into the latter's house.

"But did you came here running ? Why are you sweating all over ?"

Seokjin chuckles ,wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Am I ? "
Jaejoon feels the wetness ,not only on his face but his clothes were wet too.

" Were you that excited to see me ?"
Seokjin wiggles his brows, laughing when he was shoved .

"Jaejoon hyung ! "
The said person had a second to blink before an exciting body collided into him making him groan .

"Let him breathe Taehyung-ah"

Taehyung threw a glare and continued to squeeze the life out of his to be brother in law.

Seokjin shakes his head ,yelling for Lily to inform her about the latter's arrival.

"You should get cleaned.Dont bother answering his questions"

Jaejoon nods ,sending a wink at Taehyung who raises his thumb .

Seokjin eyes them suspiciously

"What's cooking between you two now ? Tae ,go wash your hands .Arent you hungry?"

Jaejoon placed his hands over his stomach and grumbles "I don't know about Tae but I am starving"

Seokjin squints at him "Well no food for you until you get cleaned.I will prepare your clothes so follow me now "

"Yes Sir !"

Seokjin rolls his eyes and walks towards his room .

"Look at hyung acting like a devoted husband already. God ,I am going to die with all the sweetness"

"Dont talk about deaths!"
He winced, muttering a sorry when they both yelled from Seokjin's room.

"Stay the night "
Lily offers, adding more steak to Jaejoon's plate.

Seokjin nods timidly but she could see his bubbling excitement and she adds

"I will prepare your bed in the guest room"

Taehyung smothers a laugh behind his hands when Seokjin grumbles under his breath

"Am I hearing a complain?"
