Dunstan pushed her against his door, not caring that they were in the corridor where people passed back and forth, going between their own rooms and their posts, or to other facilities. He didn’t care that he was still in uniform and therefore breaking military rules; a Code of conduct which stated that no uniformed employee – enlisted, commissioned, or civilian contractor – should partake in public displays of affection. It seemed that he had decided certain OTF rules deserved as much respect as Barbossa granted ‘the Code’ in Pirates of the Caribbean, declaring through his actions that ‘they were more what you’d call ‘guidelines’ than actual rules’.
Not that Kalyna minded.
He kissed her deeply, his tongue demanding access whilst his bigger, firmer body pinned her against the grey painted wood of his door. His hands slid to her ass, lifting her so her legs hooked around his hips and his erection pressed against her apex, obvious despite the layers of clothing between them. She moaned and he grinned against her lips, rocking his hips to grind the hard ridge under his straining fly against her suddenly aching core. She circled her own hips too, her body hot and tingling as a frisson of need rippled through her, both hers and his thanks to the newly heightened blood bond.
“I want you,” she breathed and nipped his pierced lip. “I thought I might not see you again, and I need you.”
A soft groan escaped him. She could feel his desire as intensely as her own because her blood flowed through him, creating a uniquely vampire connection. He gripped her ass tighter, holding her against him as he fought for control, instincts screaming at him to get her naked, to press his body into her heat.
“We only need to take this as far as you’re comfortable. The moment it gets too much for you, we can stop,” he insisted, then fumbled with his door, struggling to open it while focussed on her; on tasting her tongue, nipping her jaw, or sucking the sensitive flesh at her throat in a way that made the vampire in her even more desperate.
“I know,” she promised. “But I want this. I’ve missed you.”
It was the truth. Despite knowing each other for a matter of weeks, the distance had hurt. It had felt like losing something important. That feeling had only grown whilst buried under the avalanche. Yet Dunstan had come for her. He’d searched for her when others thought it was hopeless. He was the reason she wasn’t still under the snow.
The door behind her clicked open and he carried her back into his room, perching her on the edge of his bed. His fingers found the hem of her t-shirt, pulling it upwards, his fingers trailing up her sides and over the swell of her breasts before he finally tugged the garment over her head. Kneeling in front of her, he kissed down the valley between her breasts, then across to an erect nipple. His tongue circled peaked flesh, and when he sucked her pebbled tip, her eyes closed in pleasure and she squirmed where she sat.
Her fingers went to his waistband, unbuttoning his fatigues. She unbuttoned his shirt too, pushing the MTP print garment from his shoulders. He peeled off the t-shirt he'd had on underneath, and she kissed over his tattooed collar bones and shoulders. She nipped his skin, her elongated eye teeth scraping over flesh and drawing another hungry groan from him.
“Bite me,” he breathed; a request she’d never expected to hear back when she first joined the OTF, not considering his initial aversion to the blood bond she’d accidentally created. “I want to feel you. I miss feeling you.”
She didn’t need to be asked twice and she struck with an edge of desperation, her teeth cutting into his throat as her body pressed against his. His blood flooded across her tongue, flavoured like caramel and cinnamon, and spiced by his arousal. Dunstan moaned as she drew from him and his arm looped around her waist, holding her against his muscular chest. His other hand tangled in her hair, keeping her in place against his throat. Her fingers trailed up his side, his suddenly sensitised skin twitching at the contact until her hand splayed on his chest.
