Cormac had been all but banished form his wife's room as she yelled in pain. Childbirth was already painful and stressful enough without the haemophilia Victoria had. They had to inject snake venom to help the clotting somewhat but it hadn't worked a lot. So it was down to pure luck like one of her bleeding episodes. Hours seemed to pass before an infant was born. And by that time she had passed out. By the time he was let in again it must have been around three in the afternoon as she'd been in labour since what? Around four this morning? They finally let him in once she'd waken up thankfully. For a quick moment they had all though the Princess/Countess had died. Cormac quietly walked in and pulled a chair up beside his wife. "It's a girl." Victoria whispered in her scratchy well now wake voice holding the infant they had handed over to her. Cormac smiled and just kissed both of their heads, being as careful as he would be if he was handling porcelain. "So you do not mind it's a girl?" The young woman who had since stopped bleeding after some more venom had been administered, asked. "How could I mind? I didn't care if it was a boy or girl in the first place. I only cared if you both came out alive, especially you." Cormac whispered moving some of her hair out of her eyes.
