(Reminder thing

On the night of 16 January 1549, the quiet of Westminster Palace was broken by frantic barking outside the king's chamber and frightened yells and shouts. Margaret had been in her own chambers beforehand. However she'd been ripped out of her bed by her uncle, Thomas Seymour. Everyone in the vicinity came running, and it was with relief that the boy king – 11-year-old Edward VI – was found safe in his bed. Whoever had killed the dog had fled in the commotion. All the evidence, as previously said, pointed to the king's uncle, Thomas Seymour. Her terrier dog, Poppy had also been murder that night as she barked when Margaret's room was broken into. Margaret had been pulled into this due to how closely she held her brother's ear and how much he valued any advice she had to give. For the rest of the night, Margaret and Edward were kept together in the same room. They would never be the same after that night.)
