(Because I'm super indecisive, if this introduction gets at least 8 votes tonight while I'm on, I'll try to get the first chapter up tonight. 😉)
5/26/2022: By May 25th - the day after I posted the "coming soon" challenge - this story received 13 votes. I thank you all for the support, and hope you enjoy this story! 💜 The reason it was uploaded on May 26th was simply because my prologue got away from me, and over 2,000 words later, I was still editing come midnight. 😂 I promise it was worked on during the 25th. It was just in my TLC workshop for longer than I thought it would be. I can't wait to hear what you all think of this quirky tale of mine! Happy reading!

Kora ran through the hotel lobby; the mysterious man who had suddenly appeared out of no where following close on her heels as the whole building seemed to rumble about them. There were a few patrons running in the opposite direction as them as they raced through the lobby. Kora was about to run outside when the man grabbed her by the forearm, shoving her down behind the front desk before crouching down into hiding beside her.
"Who gave you the pan flute?" He asked as he looked at it clutched tightly in her right hand.
"I bought this at a gift shop!"
"My mystical pan flute...something crafted by the stars and given to those in dire need...was located in a gift shop?!"
"It doesn't look like anything special."
"Don't offend me."
Another rumble shook the world beneath them as he stayed on the balls of his feet, peeking the top of his head up over the counter to survey the surroundings. His long brown hair billowed in the sudden gust of wind that came through the shattered lobby window. He had one hand still gripping Kora's forearm to keep her hidden behind the counter.
"Why? What are you gonna do? Are you gonna hit me with your pirate sword?"
"This is not a pirate sword!" He hissed as he looked down at her with his mocha brown eyes. "What? Did you learn about swords from the gift shop too?"
"You don't learn that kind of thing at a gift shop, idiot!"
The sound of another window shattering reached their ears followed by the sound of tiles being crunched underfoot like crunchy bubble wrap. Kora watched as he shifted the hand off her forearm to his sheath where his sword was. His eyes were focused on whatever was coming towards them.
"We don't have time to argue about this now! In case you didn't notice, there is a dragon trying to kill you!"

This story is a BTS AU, which means not everything in it will be canon. Some details about the members of BTS might have been altered slightly to better fit the storyline.
