Y/N's POV
It's been two weeks since Scarlett start working with me. And it's also been two weeks since I got to be close to her. Her jolly and annoying personality are complimenting my twisty, arrogant, gloomy life.
It's safe to say that she's brought light to my life which is not cool for me. We've been traveling lately to check some sites for another branch, check the employees, and just wander around the place with her.
We're currently sitting on the couch of the hotel we're staying in, we're in LA for a business boring convention. Why do I have to attend these shits?
"I'm bored," Scarlett muttered, she put her head on my lap and then get my hands to put it on the top of her head. I play with her soft, shiny hair while I just hummed in response. "Can we go somewhere? I'm bored. So bored."
"It's midnight, mahal. We can go anywhere you want later. If you're bored, take a rest. We are busy later."
All she can do is huff. I'm tired, my brain is going to burst in stress in this freaking business shits. Plus, this woman seems like she eats a whole box of energy bars. She never gets tired though we travel two times in just one day.
"I'm not tired and I can't sleep if I have this too much energy. Please, babes, let's go out for a walk or something." She looked at me with those puppy eyes that are now my weakness. "Pretty please."
I sighed in defeat and made her smile widely then stood up, giving me a bear hug. I can't find myself saying no to her especially with those sad manipulating puppy eyes with her pouty lips.
"Get dressed, it's cold outside," I said and she nodded and quickly rushed to the bathroom and changed which made me chuckle. She's like a kid who's excited to go to the park.
Scarlett came with her phone and wallet in her hands. "Is that my jacket?" I asked.
She blushed and nodded. Beautiful.
"You want me to take it off?"
I shook my head, "no, you dont have to my clothes look good when you wear them. Just give me a heads-up when you're going to steal some." I said. I will let her steal them even my heart.
We walked out of the room with my hands on her waist and her on mine. We didn't bother to call Lorien since that kid is a sleepyhead.
"Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know. Anywhere?"
The streets are so quiet, few people are walking passed us. The only source of the lights is from the stores that are 24 hours open and the full moon.
"Babes?" Scarlett called.
"Yes, mahal?"
"Can we get an ice cream?"
I look at her confused, "at this hour?" She just nods. Like what I've said, I can't say no to this green-eyed goddess. We walked to an open mall.
Scarlett pulled me with a cart in hand. I thought we were just going to buy ice cream? She handed me the cart, and I follow her like a lost puppy. "I thought we are here for an ice cream?"
"I'm hungry."
"Yeah. I can see that." I said and saw her arms full of junk food. Scarlett shows her toothy smile while putting everything in the cart. "And this is all unhealthy, mahal."
"You only live once, babes, make it to the fullest."
I chuckled, "I know but you have to take care of yourself and don't eat a lot of this because—"
