Y/N's POV
"Boss, you have a meeting with a client at 1, do you want me to cancel it or not?" Lorien asked in a low tone. I shook my head.
"No. What's next after that?" I asked. Lorien and I are murmuring since Scarlett is on my lap, sleeping on my shoulder. This woman is throwing tantrums since this morning.
"Are you going to attend Carmen's wedding? You have the invitation here." She said. I almost forgot about that thing.
Don't get me wrong, I know it's important and it's rude if didn't go there, but at the same time, having a fussy woman on my lap is a handful. She didn't stop until she get what she want. I forgot important things I need to do and run this company when my girlfriend has a meltdown.
"What time does the ceremony start?"
"The invitation said at 3 in the afternoon. You still go?"
"Are you going to?"
"I guess so." Lorien answered with a shrug on ger shoulder. "are you going? Do Miss Scarlett is fine with that?"
"If she wants to. I don't want a moody woman in the church. I might reach the peek of showering her with holy water for her to calm down." I said, looking down to see her peacefully sleeping atop of me. Lorien chuckled.
"Okay, boss. I'll ready your suit and Miss Scarlett's gown for a bridesmaid." I nodded my head. She left the office after handing me the invitation.
Carmen and I talk for one last time after Alexander's execution. It's heartbreaking to hear everything from her point of view, I admit that I didn't treat her right, it's my fault too. I admit I overworked myself that I didn't notice she was getting tired of me coming home late and giving her the love she craved for. I was too confident that she won't leave me because she love me but I was wrong.
Once the love was replaced, tiredness overcome the love. The brick of commitment was slowly losing its strong foundation until it collapse; it was finished. Nothing left to save the dying relationship.

After the little moment, Scarlett and I shared, we went down to see Livie munching the icing off her chocolate drink mama made for her.
"You two better do it when the kid is not here or at least low it down," Mama said and slap the back of my head. I groan at it while Scarlett laughed at me.
"We didn't do anything, mama! We just talked and change. We'll do it later, tho." I joked that caused mama to pinch my side. I hiss and laughed, my worst tickle spot is there.
Lorien came running to me. "Carmen is outside, she wanted to talk." She said. My forehead creased, I thought we were done talking and now she's here?
I look at Scarlett, "mahal, what do you want me to do?" I asked. She smiled at me and give my lips a peak. Should I be scared of that smile or Nah?
"Babes, I think it's fine. Go talk to her," she encourages me. "I trust you, babes, I know you wouldn't hurt me. I know you are mine." I'm happy that she trusts me enough to talk to her, my assurance every second I tell her.
"Okay, mahal. Thank you for trusting me, I'm very happy to know that." I told her. Scarlett and I went outside to see Carmen waiting at the gate.
Carmen's POV
It felt like years of waiting here to have a last talk to her before my wedding. I promised myself this is the last time I'll talk to her, to see her and hold her soft hands. My last chance to let myself go from holding back.
