I was heading home after class and the Moons rehearsal when I came across some Geography guys who were looking frantically for Beam.

Aish, what had Beam done now? But he's been dating Forth for months now so there had to be a misunderstanding. I tried to explain to the boys whom were throwing their temper with me but they could see no reason. One of them then dove straight at me and punched me in the face. What the fuck, I was taken aback by the sudden attack and fell backwards! I hit a bench, hurting my lower back in the process badly. Fuck! I realized I could smell alcohol on this boy and it struck me they could be acting in a drunken haze. I needed back up. I couldn't just fight them back alone.

I whipped out my phone, pressing on my inbox ready to call the first number. Just as it rang, I was kicked again. My phone fell off me. I quickly tried to spring up, groaning badly in the process and tried to keep up the fight. I heard one dude scream, "Stop siding him Phana! Tell us where he is".

I just kicked the guy back and grabbed another by a headlock! It was madness. I was exhausted. I kept up as long as I could when suddenly I saw guys running towards us. It seemed like Forth and the gang? I tried to move back so I could see clearer when I heard someone scream my name to duck. Instinctively I listened to that person and I ducked. Just as I did, a branch went swinging over my head. I ducked and pushed the guy behind me and crawled back. I couldn't take it anymore. I was low key exhausted. I moved back as much as I could and that's when I realised who was in the foray; Forth, Beam, Kit, Ming, Park, Max, Tul and Lam. Park signalled to Lam who saw me on the floor, he ran over and grabbed me up effortlessly. I was a tall lanky dude who had muscles on but the way Lam lifted me off effortlessly; you would have thought I am some chick. But I realised the benefits of Lam carrying me, I could rest my weight against him and the pain seemed to ease. He sat me down gingerly on the bench and tried to get me to sit up straight. He realized i needed support and shifted me against the back of the bench. He made sure I was OK before he signalled Beam over. Beam and Kit ran over to check on me whilst the Engineering boys cleared the fight easily. Lam hovered around quietly as he listened to instructions from Beam and Kit. I saw him run off with Max and Tul to get the necessary.

My eyes were drooping and I felt fatigue washing over until I heard Forth scream; "Guys, he fucking bleeding from the head.".

Kit called the ambulance whilst Forth took off his shirt for Beam to use it as a makeshift bandage to curb my bleeding. I sat back, dazed and disoriented. I was very very tired. I could feel my eyes closing until I felt a faint ruffle of my hair. I opened my eyes to see Lam ruffling my hair softly and encouraging me to stay awake. His voice was so soft and appealing, unlike the clipped icy cold Lam from the other day.

I just smiled at him for a bit before I felt my eyes closing again. But then again I felt a pair of warm hands grab my cold ones and I opened my eyes to see. It was Lam again trying to prod me awake. I tried very hard to stay awake at least for Lam's efforts.

However, just as I saw the paramedics, my eyes closed in defeat. And the only thing I heard was Lam shouting my name in vain.
