We Meet Again

"Well Natsu and Happy it was a pleasure to meet you, but it is time for me to go." I turn around to start walking out of the café when all of a sudden there is a loud crash behind me. Turning around I see the two bowing on the floor, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" I holler, "you're making a scene, please get up." "we don't even know your name and you're buying us food, how can we repay you!" "Guys, get up you don't have to repay me I was buying you a meal as thanks for breaking that charm spell, and my name..." As I start to say my name I realize just how dangerous it could be to give them my real name, looking at their faces though I couldn't lie to them so I decided to tell them a partial truth, "My name is Lucy, please don't worry about the food, and it was nice to meet you both." Turning around I heard Happy mutter to Natsu, "We didn't even try to break any spell, how could we have broken anything?"

Walking away that statement stayed on my mind, finding a bench near the wharf I stared at the water wondering about how on earth they did break the love spell. Then all of a sudden it hit me, The smell, the broken love spell, holy crap he was my mate! Realizing this brought me into a slight panic, he can't be I try to convince myself, I can't be mated to a regular human. Convincing myself I am mistaken I continue to stare at the water when I hear footsteps behind me. Turning to look at where the noise is coming from I feel my heart stop. Getting up I prepare to run as a voice calls out to me "Are you going to come with me willingly Princess, or am I going to have to use force. Looking at the tall brunette in front of me I also notice the 20 men slightly behind him. Knowing I can't take all of them in the middle of a crowded city I try to make a plan in my head. "Captain, you know very well I cannot come with you, I will not marry Orion, he is not the true leader of the Celestial Kingdom, nor is he my true mate and I will not bow to him," As I said that last word, I turned and started running as fast as I could away from them men and towards the outside of town.

As I was running dodging people, building, and anything else in my way I was figuring out exactly how to take down all those men if I can't escape. "It will be hard, but I have to do it" I tell myself, and I start to reach the outside of town. Glancing behind me I notice that the men are loosing ground on me and that I might just manage to get to the forest outside of town and disappear when all of a sudden I crash into someone. Pushing myself up I start apologizing and checking behind me again I realize that they are closing in on me. "I'm sor-" I start as I realize who I ran into. "Natsu, Happy, I'm so sorry, but I can't stop. Bye" I start to take off again, but Natsu grabs my arm. "Lucy why are you running?" Seeing the men get close and closer, I try to pull out of Natsu's grasp, "Those men are after me I need to get away from them so please let me go Natsu. I don't want you to get caught up in my mess."

Realizing I no longer have time to run away, I turn to face the men. "Natsu. Happy. Please stay behind me, there is no reason for you to be involved in my mess." Finally managing to pull my hand out of Natsu's grasp I brace myself for the hard fight that is about to come. The men all line up, starting magic spells and preparing to fight. Looking around I gage how many I think I can take and how to best protect Natsu and Happy. Noticing a puddle of water by my feet I quickly squat down and touch it,

"Open Gate of the Waterbearer Aquarius!" Suddenly a blue haired mermaid appears in front of me and the men start to attack. "Aquarius, wipe them all out please." Aquarius glares at me, "Why should I help the one who ran away," she says, "I was pushed, you know I would never run away." I respond, "Tch" I guess I'll give you a chance she says, don't you run away again she says a dark aura surrounding her. "Yes Ma'am, I'm sorry!" was all I could squeak out when she growled and shot a huge water blast from her urn. All but the captain of the group was washed away. "I'm going on a date with my boyfriend, don't summon me anymore for the rest of the week." Turning she disappeared with a ding. Before I could even summon another spirit to help me there was a huge pillar of fire coming towards me.

All of a sudden Natsu stands in front of me. As I go to try to push him out the the way Happy puts out his paw and stops me. "Lucy, let him handle this." I couldn't respond in time and then Natsu is engulfed in flames. "NATSU" I cry trying desperately to reach him, but Happy held me back. All of a sudden I hear his voice from within the flames. "Man these taste absolutely horrible, and you call yourself a fire mage." Then there is a slurp and all the flames disappear into his mouth. "Um Happy, what was that?" I ask the cat as I continue to watch Natsu. "That's Natsu's Magic, he is a Fire Dragon Slayer." as Happy says that I hear Natsu yell "Roar of the Fire dragon!" and flames come shooting out of his mouth sending the captain flying, and destroying part of the town. My mouth drops in shock as Natsu grabs my wrist and starts pulling me away from the scene. I hear Men in armor and blue cloaks running towards us yelling for us to stop. Natsu, where are we going, why are you pulling me?!" I question him, "I'm gonna take you to join my guild" he says with a childish smirk. Smiling I just let him pull me along, towards a new town and hopefully safety from Orion.
