AH AH, you were expecting me to continue writing from the fight with Knuckledragger. But guess what? That would be boring, so I'll just skip to after the fight with Captain Flint. That's when the plot actually starts moving forward.
Without my shit talk out of the way, enjoy this mess.

3rd POV
Claptrap: And now, to set sail for Sanctuary! Toot-toot!
Gaige: Fucking finally! Now I can check those upgrades for Deathtrap.
Gaige and Maya were seen completely exhausted from all the fights they went through. First they had to get Claptrap's eye back from a 7ft icy gorilla, then beat two lunatic brothers known as Boom and Bewm, and finally went to kick Captain Flint's ass, or as Gaige likes to call him -Captain BBQ, so they could get off the damn frozen rock.
Claptrap: Now sit back and relax, as your most amazing captain is about to set sail for Three Horns Divide!
During the trip, Gaige a Maya started discussing their plans for what to do after arriving at Sanctuary, and how to get back in contact with the rest of the group.
Gaige: Good thing I got my storage pad working, otherwise we would literally be toast.
Maya: Yeah. How did it break anyway? Isn't it attached to your arm, and if so, how was your arm fine?
Gaige: Completely separated circuitry. I made it that way so if my arm got ripped out I could still call for Deathtrap, didn't expect the opposite to happen though.
Maya lets out a small chuckle. She then goes to lie down next to some boxes stacked against each other as Gaige follows. They just relax and make small talk for the rest of the trip.
Timeskip 50 minutes
The ship finally arrived at Three Horns Divide, and as they get ready to leave, Maya notices Claptrap stays unmoved from his captain cabin.
Maya: You coming or what?
Claptrap: Nah, you go on ahead. Tell the locals what we'll require for my "welcome back" party. I'll stay in here and give 'em time to-
He was then interrupted by the bridge ahead exploding, and shots in the distance.
?????: Pandora is a violent and dangerous place. Sanctuary is... slightly less so. You'll need a car to reach the city gate. Get to the Catch-A-Ride.
Gaige: Gotta admit, the name is catchy.
Gaige lightly elbows Maya who just grunts at the bad pun.
Gaige: Let's just get a move on.
As they cross the frozen valley, they are confronted by a bunch of bullymongs. But end up making quick work of them as they slready beat they're "Daddy" some time ago.
After the small fight, they reach the Catch-A-Ride and see to platforms, most probably for the vehicles, a computer pad, and two vending machines, for ammonition and health.
