Mother superior, please forgive me. Just take this headache away.

If you do, I promise you one thing…

“I’m so never going to drink again!” I screeched, springing up from my bed and grinding my teeth. I looked around my room. It was obvious I had kicked off my shoes and thrown Sir Colton’s yellow umbrella to one side of the room.

Something was wrong though. It was sparklingly clean.

Did some night spirit immaculate visit overnight?

“Holy shit!”
I cursed, with my eyes bolting the instant it landed on the alarm clock just on my cupboard. It was 8:22am! I moved to get up, only to come to a realization.

The alarm clock wasn’t even working. It spoilt long time ago, but defiant me kept it there, due to my inability to let it go.

Think Rias, think…

“Yes, my phone…!” I hastily searched for it. Luckily, it was safely tucked in my hand bag.

6:24am.

Oh wow, more time to get ready, I guess.

Thank goodness!

My butt hit the bed, as I sat down. Some events of last night, spun in instantly. The second Colton’s face appeared in my head; I began to feel a mystified feeling.

The mysteries to his sudden appearances. The way he was right in front of me in a milli-second, when he had just been a distance away…

A slight knock jeered me out of my thoughts.

“Come in?” I let out, thinking of who might be knocking so early in the morning. I looked down at my violet dress, only for my eyes to bolt.

Reyna’s vomit!

I instantly sprang up, with irritation and aim to rip the damn dress off my body I struggled with the piece severely only to hear a voice.

“Do you need help with that?”

The dress currently blocked my vision and all of my head so I had a hard time seeing who it was. But whoever it was, however supported me to remove it.

“Arrgh!” I let out throwing it angrily at a corner of the room, the instance it was all done. Goosebumps overrode my skin at the thought.

These were things I dreaded so much. Much worse that a surface full of tiny holes…!

Oh no…I think I’m gonna puke badly.

“How horrendous! That’s so unhygienic, Rias. You’re a grown woman.” Some voice commented. “You should know this, dear.”

It was then I realized that I wasn’t the only one in my room. And someone indeed helped with my dress, but who? I hastily turned towards the voice.

I almost jumped at my spot when my gaze connected to Karen’s face. Her blonde hair, which was neatly combed in a bub. And her rich aunty vibes, clothing, which depicted an aura of perfection that irked every fiber in me.

“What? Hold on a minute, why are you here?” I stated, pointing my hands at her rude motherfucking ass, which I was gonna whoop if she didn’t shut the fuck up…

“What do you think? I moved in as your step mom, Rias. Didn’t your dad tell you about it, like I asked?” she said in a soft tone.

Her choice of words definitely irritated me further.

I looked around my neat room. It had been obviously dirty before. Hold on, did she have something to do with this?

“Oh, I see what this is. You coming into my room, touching my stuff, in a pretense that you’re arranging them, right…!” I angrily let out.
