"Alright maggots it's time for your aptitude test , your first step is to dangle from that wire over there" The commandant yelled at our faces
Pretty much everyone passed so far especially Mikasa
"Cadet Yeager and cadet Y/n step up" The commandant yelled
"Jeez you don't have to yell" I mumbled to myself
"What was that cadet Y/n?" The commandant said catching onto my complaints
"Shit seems like he heard, sly old bastard. uh.... nothing sir" I said quickly
"That's what I thought" He yelled again
"I feel like he just did that on purpose to rile me up" I thought to myself
Me and Eren were raised above ground after being hooked up to some weird belt thingy, I was doing pretty well balancing but Eren wasn't doing so good as he fell, i laughed at his failure as my wires snapped I fell and whack my head along with Eren
"Ereh " Mikasa yelled
"Of course it's always that self delusion bastard she runs after" I thought while rubbing my head in pain
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a hand reach up to help me up
"Hey I'm Annie" The girl said coldly
"Oh you're that quiet scary girl" I said recognizing her immediately
She let go of my hand mid way
"Eh?" Was all I couldn't think before I hit the ground again
"Whatever, you need to learn to talk to women more properly" she said walking away
I was left confused at what had just occurred,then Armin came to help me up properly as he took me to bandage my head
Mess hall
"Isn't that the kid that was saying he was gonna exterminate titans, what a joke" we heard some random people gossiping about Eren
"Come on Eren don't pay attention to them and eat your food" I said
"Y/n you're only encouraging him" Mikasa stated
"Yeah I know isn't that the idea here?" I asked
"Yeah I'm totally gonna show them I Can exterminate the titans" Eren said
"Eren maybe you're just not cut out to be a soldier you should drop out now"Mikasa said leaving us all shocked
"No way" Eren immediately retorted
"You see whether or not you're caught up to be a soldier is not up to you" She continued as the bell rang we all left but Mikasa hadn't even noticed as she continued her talking but it was only Sasha who had waited but not for Mikasa's little speech but for her food
ODM Training
"Come on cadet Arlet put your back into it, or you can abandon your equipments that way the titans will have a much easier time trying to digest you " The commandant yelled
Armin was struggling to keep up, then Reiner took off Armin's bag of equipment
"Reiner Braun doesn't he know helping will drop his grades" The commandant thought
"No Reiner your scores will be reduced" Armin protested
"Then you just have to do your best to not get caught" Reiner responded
