So, here we are again, me just reading something at the desk and Liv doing god knows what on her phone. The TARDIS has been in flight for at least two hours now, probably more, we've just been in the space time vortex searching for anything that could lead us to the next clue as to the doctors whereabouts. Another few minutes passes when thankfully the screen finally pings, I rush to it to see what the news is only to find they're merely coordinates, ones that I don't understand but I input them into the console anyway and she takes us to where they lead...

Shortly after we find ourselves on a rock, suspended in space, I lead Liv out and we're both quite bedazzled at the sight before our eyes. A massive golden temple sitting atop a rock close to what seems to be a sun, after a moment of taking in the sheer beauty of what we can see I realise where we are. "The rings of Akhaten" I say to Liv in a sort of showing off tone, as if I'm well versed in universal travel this quickly, "Is that where we are?" she asks "It sure is, wanna see it up close?" I extend my hand and she takes it with a smile and we go back inside the box. We're now in the main marketplace area of the rings and the festival of offerings is well underway, "So, what exactly is this place?" Liv asks me rather hastily "Well, that pyramid we saw is the pyramid of the rings of akhaten, a holy site from the sun-singers of Akhet. This is a system of seven worlds orbiting the same star and everyone believes that all life in the universe originated here, on akhaten" I say rather happily "Is it true?" she asks "Well, it's what they believe, and it's a nice story". I then remember why we're here "Ok now that's enough dillydallying, we need to find the next part of those coordinates so just uh, look around, ask the local folk!" "But they're all aliens!" she retorts "They may be but the TARDIS is clever and it translates all languages into one you'd understand so for you it would be flemish or english" I say back quickly "No way that's awesome!" she replies "Yeah so go and do that and if we lose track of each other you can just call me, oh hang on! almost forgot, a little upgrade for your phone" I then take her phone and use the sonic to upgrade it. "What did that do?" she says a bit puzzled "basically now you can call me from anywhere in time and space so if we ever get separated you just need to dial that number" I say with a smile to which she just smiles and nods then walks off to do some searching as I do the same.

I quickly find myself conversing with a lupari who says he doesn't know much of coordinates but says there's a planet nearby which has them on an old military base there to which I thank him. Liv is struggling to commune with a different lupari so I find her quickly "Liv, I've got something it's not much, but it's something" she then starts to go with me when the lupari speaks directly to me "Doctor?" he says and that's when I recognise him, it's karvanista! "Oh uh, not really but sort of, we're looking for her and you wouldn't happen to know where this supposed military base is would you?" "Not really sorry" "Okay well thank you anyway karvanista" "No problem, doctor" we then head back towards the TARDIS which is when I realise something is wrong. The whole place begins to shake and we head out into the area where the queen of years is singing to the old god, only to find her being dragged towards the temple. I then head back towards the TARDIS which is when Liv gets to me "Why are we walking away?! that girl needs our help" I then turn to face her "We don't walk away, I'm just getting something so wait here" she smiles and I then come back out of the TARDIS with some credits to rent the moped with, thankfully they accept those these days and not just items that bare personal value. I then go to the alien lady and commune with her to get the moped which is when me and Liv begin to fly on it to chase Merry Gejelh through space, eventually we reach the pyramid temple and I'm not having any funny business so I quickly jump into action and stop the mummy thing from waking up grandfather but my efforts were futile. A large beam shoots from the pyramid and into the sun and it wakes up so I'm forced to step out and face it, alone. I take a deep breath and step outside standing before its sheer size and dreariness, Liv then joins me "You're gonna fight it aren't you?" "Yep" "It's big" "I've seen bigger" "Really?" "Yeah like your mum" I laugh a little and so does she "Really?" "I couldn't resist" she laughs a little again. "Well, good luck then" she says before kissing me on the cheek and standing to the side with Merry, the sun then opens its eyes and mouth so I take that as my queue to begin "Well hello there, I'm the doctor " the sun just snarls at me. Meanwhile Liv and Merry go back to the main area and Merry then begins to sing the old song "Rest now, my warrior.." she begins to sing and I can hear the beautiful melodies echo through the air around me "Ok then that's what I'll do, I'll tell you a story" the sun snarls at me again with an evil grin "Can you hear them singing? all these people who have lived in fear of you and have devoted themselves to you! So you might as well just have my stories instead because I've lived a fairly long life so far and I've seen.. a few things". The sun god begins to latch onto me with some sort of energy tendrils and I feel my mind go into full reel mode "So you like stories eh? Well I've got a lot that I could tell, there's the powerful and tragic love story of Jamie and Dani, or try the family tragedies of the umbrella academy, all these stories that I've watched and read and experienced that have stayed with me through so many years of pain and joy and longing for a better life! and I have seen things, things you wouldn't even believe and could never understand and I know things, secrets that can never be told knowledge that must never be spoken! So come on then, take my memories." Little did I know that Liv had been here the whole time, watching me pour my heart out to this false god and when I noticed her I knew that I had to continue since this thing isn't a god, it's a parasite.

"Well there's plenty more pal, in my head there's the story of Nick and Charlie or if you want a little more bang for your buck then try all the people all the lovers all my friends! Everything that I've experienced in just 17 years which quite frankly is a lot for such a short time but that's not the point, the point is that you can do way more living in just a few years than others do in an entire lifetime and stories are what we all are in the end so just make it a good one would you?" I finally stop when the sun god starts to fade away and I let out a sigh of relief, Liv then rushes to me and gives me a big hug which is when both of us cry, I've never done anything like that and god it was a lot. We then just walk off back to the marketplace and I say one last thing to karvanista, "If you find out anything just give us a call" which is when I write down my number and hand it to him "Good luck on finding her, I'll admit that woman gave me a hard time a long time ago but you tend to grow to like the woman you saved the universe with" he says a little sadly "Yeah.." I just say back to him as I flash a quick smile and step back in my box, it's time to go to that military base. The TARDIS quickly finds the planet to be Arcadia which is rather convenient and we immediately go there and it's subsequent abandoned military base, on the journey there Liv musters a simple "You ok?" to me which takes me a little by surprise "I'm always ok" I just reply with a forced smile as we land and I grab my coat again and step out. Luckily the TARDIS landed us close to the base and we step inside, it's a typical abandoned military base, lots of guns and ammo all over the place which makes me a little disgusted since I can't stand war in any way. After a while of searching there's a tablet on a table which when I turn it on it displays "10-0-.." which makes me smile "Well we have the next part of the coordinates" I remark to Liv "Oh is that it?" she retorts "Yeah, this is gonna be a very long journey I can feel it" I say back to her as I then head back into the TARDIS and add them to the existing 10- in the notebook and as Liv follows me in she just says "So where to next?" I smile and reply "Not too sure, we'll set the TARDIS to look for more of the coordinates and see where she takes us" we then both just nod as I fiddle with the controls and pull down the lever. Who knows where we're going next...
