Stuck in the Cold/ Injury

He failed. He lost and he was going to die.

He failed the Supreme Leader, his Grandfather, Hux. Now he was alone, dying in the snow.

Part of him had hoped the Scavenger would have just killed him.

Now that he was dying in the snow due to blood loss and hypothermia, his thoughts landed on Hux.

Out of everything that had happened, Hux had always been there. And what had he done? Yelled at him, forced him to make the tougher decisions regarding the Leaders Orders. He had left him to fend for himself. And now he was alone.

He only hoped Hux was safe. Kylo would rather lose himself before losing Hux.

He felt the ground shake under him. Starkiller was going to fold in on itself, and he was at the center.

Kylo screamed into the snow. He was too full of anger and regret to really care. Why couldn't he just die?

He spaced in and out of consciousness, the pain in his side almost too much to bare.

He only 'woke up' when he felt hands on him. Whoever it was, they were digging out the snow underneath him, yelling at other people.

He tried to force himself to open his eyes, only able to see a blurry image of a man..... a man with ginger hair.

"Hux?"

He wailed in pain as Hux tried to turn him over. Digging his hands in the snow to pick Kylo up.

"Shhhh, it's ok Kylo, it's ok. Just stay alive......for me."

Kylo tried to look up at him. They were almost running at this point. He could see Hux's Scared expression, tears running down his face. He only burrowed closer to him, trying to warm himself up.

He didn't quite know when they had gotten into the shuttle. He heard Hux yelling at the troopers. He was set down on the shuttle floor, Hux was sitting with him, carding his fingers through his hair.

There were so many things he wanted to tell him. So many things he wanted to do differently. He needed Hux to know that he, that he loved him.

"Armitage-"

"Shhhh, you'll live Kylo. We're safe, your alive. We're ok. You can rest now. I'll be right here with you."

He let himself rest. Placing his hand in Hux's before letting himself go. They would be ok. They were together and he would not fail again.
