Revenge of the House on Haunted Hill

Prologue

Long time ago, somewhere in the outskirts of Los Angeles, there was an asylum run by Dr. Richard Benjamin Vannacutt. He was once a brilliant physician and a strong humanitarian. He also traveled around the world, collecting art which he believed could be therapeutic. However, at some point during his travels, he found the Baphomet Idol and was corrupted by its evil, and Vannacutt became a brutal monster, which he performed gruesome experiments and medical procedures on his patients.

Then one night, the last female patient arrived in the asylum with a rose in her hand, then Vannacutt had his wardens to send that woman to the room, she left her rose on the lobby floor, Vannacutt picked up a rose from the floor and he threw it outside where the woman arrived, hours later, while he and some of his staff were dissecting one of his patients, the asylum's inmates revolted, Vannacutt became aware that the inmates had escaped, he activated the facility's lockdown, sealing himself and all his staff and patients inside, while the inmates dragged Vannacutt onto a surgery table, Vannacutt saw that woman who arrived earlier, he begged for his forgiveness, but it was too late, but she had seen there was no love in his heart, as punishment, Vannacutt was killed by some of his patients, before they were all killed, including the last woman, in the asylum fire, except five of his staff.

Days into years, including some of the people who entered his asylum and killed and the disappearance of the Baphomet Idol, the spirits of Dr. Vannacutt and his victims were forgotten by the world. While the removal of the Baphomet Idol had set Vannacutt's victims free, he himself could not move on into the next life. He's been doomed to remain an evil spirit for all time. But that's not all. Not all of the spirits chose to move on. As the years pass, he falls into despair and loses all hope. Until one day, a rather peculiar, young woman moves into the mansion and secrets from the past and present shall be revealed.
