XVII

—"DID you just hear that?" Asked Nam-ra as she looked at the confused group asking her what she had just heard as Nam-ra looked at them with disbelief in her eyes

"You guys didn't hear? It was so loud yet so faint." She says as On-jo asked what the person had screamed out making Nam-ra look back at the direction they went in before answering

"Somebody was yelling for Cheong-San, it sounded like your brother On-jo." She had finally said without saying that she heard M/N went upstairs to the contruction building as all eyes of the group widens so suddenly looking at the female

"So do you think he's still alive?" Asked Su-Hyeok with hope in his eyes as Nam-ra looked slightly unsure and just shrugged telling them that the scream was so it wasn't sure if he actually got out or not but they shouldn't try and find out since Dae-Su is injured and they should just hurry up and go to where their destination should be

"Let's just go and hurry before zombies catch up to us even after they got exploded." Said On-jo as the group nodded and started walking their way to where they think their destination must be.

Meanwhile back with M/N, he rubbed his temples after screaming the mans name so loud that even his head started to ring, as his vision slowly went back to normal, he was safe. No injuries, but he still so close to the school how did he not die?

He groaned and stood up but failed miserably, as he then looked at his feet for it to feel both broken. He glared at his legs and muttered some swear words before starting to crawl, despite not feeling the pain his legs are experiencing

"What the fuck am I now? A YoonBum kinnie? Shit, I wonder if theres even a Sangwoo kinnie out there.." He mutters recalling the first manga that he red, it was Killing Stalking and to be honest it was very good.

He crawls his way slowly to where he knew Nam-ra and the others were as he used his eyes to see where they are as you already know, he can see through anything, as he panted slightly his hands getting tired as he kept on glancing at his broken foot

'Should I yell for them? No... It wouldn't be a good idea if I do, what if the army finds out I'm not actually human? Will they kill me for it? Probably.' He thought as he shivers thinking of the army killing him and shooting him with no mercy

He sighs, he then slowly starts to feel his legs again, his eyes then widens in shock as both his legs go back to normal as then he starts to stand up slowly actually managing to and is now slowly trailing behind the group, careful not to alert them since he wants to go dead meat first before showing up to them once again.

He knows that Nam-ra knows his there with her and the group, but the others were too occupied in finding the way out of their city without going through a million pack of zombies once they entered the city, it was quiet, not for Nam-ra and M/N though, they were walking towards an alley way while M/N kept such a far distance as he watched the group while seeing multiple zombies run to their group while he only did nothing

His bag and On-jo were all he had but knowing that he feels his stomach rumble just looking at the group he can't help but stray far away since it might cause into a bigger problem, Nam-ra's already there ad if he went there, the group would have already turned into zombies. Why? Cause the two of them are yearning for human flesh.

It was getting scary for M/N, just the thought of him eating and biting his little sister, he cannot afford to do that. He might aswell die and be with Cheong-San rather than eating any people that he loves, if only he were a strong and smart senior, nobody would have died and there wouldn't have been any zombie apocalypse now

If only he had went to the science room and woken up Hyeon-ju, she wouldn't have been locked up by the science teacher and everything would have been fine for all of them. While M/N was deep in thought he didn't even notice the group running away as he shook off his thoughts and went to the alley way where he last saw them

There was Wu-Jin who had his head turned, probably cause of Nam-ra as he sighed and kneeled down next to Wu-Jin looking at him with sympathy

'Ha-ri must be very sad to see his brother dead...' M/N thought as he remembered his sister as he stood up and bid Wu-Jin a small condolence and bye as he slowly started to walk to where the group is

He took off once again a very far away distance where the group wouldn't see him but he would see them, as he saw how they walked but Nam-ra hardly started to walk. It was like something was dearly wrong with her as M/N squinted his eyes, serious with the situation she was in

'She feels hungry, if you dare try to eat the group I'll immidiately eliminate you Choi. You may be my friend but bite the group and you'll never see any of us again' M/N thought as Nam-ra looked at the direction M/N was in and she looked pale

She was pale as snow as she slowly made her way to an alley way where the group wouldn't see but unfortunately once she enetered, Su-Hyeok had noticed the absence of their president as he called out for her getting the attention of the zombie males sister making M/N's eyes widened

'Shit! Seriously? Couldn't it be anyone else rather than Su-Hyeok and On-jo? This is so fucking pathetic' Thought M/N as he slowly started to walk where the trio were still mentaining distance as he hid behind a car

He watched as Nam-ra attempted to try and eat the flesh of the zombie as she slowly looked at M/N, the two locking eyes as Nam-ra's eyes were watering with hunger and sadness while M/N looked at her with sympathy

"M/N... I'm so hungry.." She said before somebody called out her name as the trio were now back together without seeing M/N as he took his head back down to the car where the two humans wouldn't see him

"Why are you eating that zombie.. And did you just talk to M/N, tell me... Is he here?"
