My poor lyra

Somethings startled the girls in their dorm. Head girl Annie knew exactly what was happening "It's her. I can see the golden monkey"

Lyra knew exactly who it was and now was scared of running into the one person she has been running from..... HER MOTHER

All the children were being escorted to the cafeteria by the sisters of Bolvanger. Just as Lyra was sitting to eat her breakfast Doctor Cooper walks through the door. All the children fell silent, waiting for a name to be called out.

"Lizzie Brooks" yelled Doctor Cooper

All the children stopped eating their breakfast and stared at Lyra. Annie grabbed Lyra's hand giving her a concerned look. Lyra knew what was going to happened and she had a plan.

"C'mon Lizzie, don't make this harder than it is"

Sister Clara starts to move towards Lyra, not wanting to make a scene and scare the other children, she got up and left the cafeteria.

Knowing her fate, Lyra was getting scared. Walking down one corridor then down another. Lyra tried to put her plan into action. Slowing down, Doctor Cooper caught onto her. Lyra started to run.

"Get her daemon"

"No, you don't"

Doctor Rendal grabs Pan and squeezes his sides taking the wind out of him causing Lyra to pass out. Doctor Cooper thanked him. The male nurse that was behind them was ordered to pick the child up. The two doctors carried on toward a room guarded by a thick metal door. The one room the children of Bolvanger know not to go near as they were scared of what was on the other side of the door.

As the male nurse was slowly putting Lyra into a metal cage on the left, doctor Rendal was putting Pan into the other cage. Pan was successfully locked into the cage. Lyra awoke as soon as Pan realised, he was trapped. It took a few people to take down the girl to put her back into her cage.

"LET GO OF ME, LET GO OF ME. YOU DON'T KNOW WHO I AM" screamed the girl knowing what was going to happen.

"MRS. COULTER WOULDN'T WANT THIS"

Rendal was curious with what was coming out of the young girl's mouth "Shouldn't we listen to her?" Doctor Cooper ignoring her co-worker and the young girl in the machine.

"How does she know Mrs. Coulters name?" Rendal yelled back to Doctor Cooper who really didn't care about what the man had to say.

"I AM THE CHILD OF LORD ASRIEL AND MARISA COULTER AND THEY WON'T WANT THIS" trying to stay calm for Pan's sake, Lyra was hoping that saying that they would release her, and she could continue her mission of setting the children free.

"We should really listen to the girl"

"You're doing something great. You will help change the world" Again doctor Cooper ignored her co-worker. She pushed a few buttons, pulled a lever and down came the blade slicing Lyra and Pan's bond.

Seconds later a figure walks through the door. "You were meant to tell me you were doing an experiment"

Doctor Cooper looked surprised at Marisa, she realised she was meant to wait but also the child called "Lizzie" was becoming troublesome with the other children and had to put a stop to it.

Sister Clara opens the doors to the machine as doctor Rendal stares at Marisa dumb founded and now in utter fear as the child he just helps cut was her daughter.

The cage that contained Lyra is opened and Lyra just falls out unconscious.

"Lyra" Marisa whispers to herself. "MY LYRA" her tone a little harsher "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? That was my daughter..... MY DAUGHTER" Marisa's voice cracking, anger starting to show on her face. Marisa runs down to the room where Lyra is, pushing Rendal out of her way.
