after school and quite a bit of questioning from her friends y/n was walking to the orphanage to pack her stuff. it started to rain so she walked home a bit slower enjoying the atmosphere she can heat her body temperature so she wont freeze but it does take alot of energy.
at the orphanage y/n walks in to see mr wallace standing there unpacking groceries the first time she had seen him do that in months.
" ah y/n how was your day " he smiles handing me a packet off something. taking another look at it i realise it was cat food. how did he-
"uh it was good yeah" i say still not used to his new behaviour i must've really broke him. "what uh what about you" i ask
"busy, i hired a cleaner so she should be around weekly, ive been shopping grabbing some stuff to fix up the place, a new showerhead, blankets for the kids stuff like that, im starting pocket money so the kids can have a bit of freedom. replaced some of the beds while everyone was at school" he said and god was i surprised, i looked around and did notice that things were cleaner and everything seemed more lively. "i get paid alot for you kids so ive decided to use all that money for the benefits of giving them a good life" damn this guy has changed
"oh i see, well i have to go pack, ill visit the kids when i can and make sure the deal is still working out" i say and he nods beginning to make dinner?? waht the actual fuck. i walk upstairs to be greeted by casey and bella
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" bella squeals hugging my legs.
"for what?" i laugh
"HAVE YOU SEEN THE PLACE BRO, i know whatever you did has something to do with it" casey smiles
"okay i may have had something to do with it" i shrug. we talk for a while before i go back to my room. packing didnt take long as i had basically nothing. i did check up on padfoot, feeding him with the food, he was getting bigger but still a small. i pack everything up and lay down on my bed. pulling out my phone to text my friends

"exactly!" they throw their hands in the air. i just roll my eyes. walking back to my room.
