Chapter 2: A new job

Brad came home. He was very happy! He couldn't wait to tell his friend about this woman and something better: his new job! He had known Matthew since he was a little kid. They got along really well. Matthew was always nice and supported him. He was a real friend. Brad heard the sound at the door again and he knew that Matthew was home again. ''Hey Matthew! You won't guess what happened!'' ''Tell me!'' Replied Matthew happy. ''If met a woman...'' Matthew interrupted him and smiled. ''Oh no, that's promising, is someone in love here?'' ''Um, shut up.'' he laughed. ''The woman offered me a job! As a babysitter and she will give me very much money for it. Isn't that amazing! Her name was Hazel, by the way and she was very nice. I can't wait to start!'' Matthew said:'' That's amazing! Hopefully you'll have fun doing it! As long as you do what you love, the money will always follow. I know you totally love kids.'' "Yeah, I do.'' Brad smiled and he was the happiest person alive. It was Wednesday and on Friday his first shift as babysitting started. Brad just couldn't wait. All night he was thinking about the woman and thinking about what the first meeting with the kid would be. A day passed he was talking Matthew's head off, so exited was he. ''Okay, okay, I know the story now. Okay Brad?''. ''i'm sorry'' Laughed Brad. The next day, it was Friday and the day has finally come. He putted his shoes on and walked to the address the woman has given him. He knocked on the door. He waited. The door slowly opened and he saw a face off a small kid around seven years looking at him. ''Are you..? Bat or something?'' ""Hi!'' Said Brad. ''my name is Brad, not bat. Who are you?'' The kid smiled softly, saying:''Dammit! I hoped you were batman! But Brad is fine as well. I'm Mick!'' ''Nice meeting you.'' Said Brad. Behind the boy appeared a woman. ''Hi Hazel!'' "'Hi Brad! I'm really sorry but I'm in a rush! I really have to go! You can eat all the chips and drink all the Coke we have. Mick will show you where everything is! i hope you don't mind!'' Brad replied with:''No of course not! It's okay. We will have fun, right Mick?'' The kid smiled:'' Yeah!'' ''Bye!'' Said Hazel and she ran off. ''Let's go inside.'' Said Brad and Mick and him walked inside the house.
