CHAPTER 8
Pete
Aaaaa....
Ahhh...
Aaaachhhoooo!
I have been sneezing so much. My nose is now red from scratching. It is itchy continuously. I feel a burning sensation from the friction until I started to lose sensation. I wasn't sneezing like this when I woke late this morning.
"Oh? Are you feeling sick?" asked Vegas, who was lying on the bed facing the computer. He raised his head up in my direction, as I was lying on the couch face down, my head hanging over the side of the armrest.
Today the weather is also a bit strange as I feel like my head is being weighed down. This is unusual because the weather isn't something that will affect me in such a way, come rain or shine.
I have never had these types of allergies before; unlike a certain young master, Khun, who was always pretending to be ill with some sickness. I suddenly start to sneeze repeatedly, then coughed, which caused a headache to form.
"I'm not sure. I don't usually have allergies. I think it's going to rain." I answered as I glanced over at the shelf on the side, to see if there is a book I can read within reach. I grabbed a book, feeling annoyed as I readjusted my chin so it was resting on top of the armrest.
On top of all of this, that bastard Vegas has now finished all his exams and was staying home all the time. He spends his time going in-between the bedroom and the office, which is like his playroom. It made things feel different. The environment doesn't feel the same because I can't spend m time looking for a way to break free from this chain. Or plan a way to escape successfully, which is something I do every day.
Arghhh!!! Don't you have anywhere to be or any business to attend to that would mean you have to go out?
"Come over here!" Vegas said. I had been deep in thought for quite some time. So I had not realized that Vegas had made his way over to me and used his kneed to nudge into my side.
"Uh???" I swiftly pushed myself up from the armrest and looked at him in a faint daze.
"First, take this," Vegas said as he brought me a glass of water and handed me a yellow pill as he stood in front of me.
"Umm, what is that for?" I asked, even though I was willing to take the medicine.
"It is medicine to help fight against seasonal allergies. Your face is quite red, so you must be sick," Vegas said as he sat down beside me and slowly made his way closer to me. I immediately looked away, not daring to look him in the eyes. For some unknown reason, since he'd shaved me yesterday and kissed me, I can still feel the sensations on my lips and face. As if there was something that doesn't come off.
It's like there is a trapped feeling inside me. Not one of fear or being afraid because it feels really good, but it also makes me feel confused and anxious.
"It's alright. I'm okay. I'm fine," I said while remaining frozen on the spot. He doesn't push farther and is not being so stubborn. He just sits there, but I still keep my mouth shut.
"Have the medicine," Vegas instructed in a calm tone. I took the water he offered, put the medicine in my mouth, and swallowed it down with water. Vegas watched as I followed his instruction, and then turned to go and turn the air conditioning off. Before walking towards the balcony and opening the curtains wide and sliding the door open.
"Perhaps it is because you have been living in an air-conditioned room for so long. Let's turn the fan on." Vegas commented before leaving the bedroom. I look at him like he had lost his damn mind. What the hell is up with him?
