'hurry up Lola! Your always late!' Lola hears through her letter box as she walks down her staircase in her red dress, holding her clutch bag and putting her money and red lipstick in. She grabbed her keys and opened the door. 'OMG!!! Katie. I can't believe you're here!' Lola said as she hugged Katie. She let go and locked the front door. ' So... wheres your other "friends" ' She questioned her 'long lost friend'. ' Oh yeah! they're meeting us at the Kings cross' ' Lola and Katie climbed in the taxi and set off to their destination. ' There's someone i'm looking forward for you to meet' Katie casually mentioned as they pulled up.They both said their thank you's and walked in. ' Reservation for 6 please, under the name of Katie.'  'Right this way' the waitress replied. You got to your table and found 3 people sat there. ' So, Lola this is Sarah, Dexter and Louise. Sarah has a high role at the moment. Louise is a singer and Dexter is...' she paused ' Wait...' Lola replied eagerly. 'Dexter hercules?' she questioned he nodded. 'NO WAY!!! It's me 'Lol' from Music collage and primary!' She smiled. ' Oh-my-god! Lol! you look great!' He replied. ' Don't look to bad yourself she joked... so what are you do-' Just as she was about to question Dexter about his new life she was interupted...

'Sorry i'm late guys.' A smooth Essex voice spoke. 'The traffic from the hotel was hectic so i left the cab and walked.' Katie coughed which caught his attention to Lola. 'Oh... I'm so sorry, where are my manners... I'm Olly... Olly Murs, I've heard alot about you Lola. Its a pleasure to finally meet you!' She was speechless she couldn't believe the Olly Murs (who she's had a crush on since they were singing partners at collage) was talking to her. Katie gave her a nudge. 'Oh sorry,' she shook his hand ' The pleasure's all mine Olly, I love your music and your voice, thanks for meeting me.' He kissed her hand and the waitress came over, 'can I take your orders?' all the girls ordered wine and the boys had a beer. After they were ordered, Lola ran into the bathroom.

'Lola?! Lola where are you?! Are you okay?' Katie asked worried. She was quiet shut the door and heard Lola sob. 'Hey? Lol? What's up? Open the door.' She opened the door and replied with a broken voice and long pauses. ' It's... just... too much Katie........ I've had a crush on him since the first day we sang together and when we left school we lost contact... I grew close to him and now... he doesn't even remember me.' She sobbed out as Katie got some tissue and rubbed her eyes for her. 'Well...' Katie replied 'You have changed quite a bit since collage to be fair. I mean in collage you were quiet, wore glasses, wore your hair in plaits and always wore pencil skirts, tights and a blouse. And look at you tonight wearing curly hair, red lipstick a short red dress and your high heels.' She shook her head. ' I know that but you'd think he'd at least remember my name right?' She asked sheepishly. Katie shook her head 'Not really. In collage you got called 'l' or 'lol' never your full name so if i told him Lola was coming he must've been mistaken.... Now, we are going to apply a bit of make-up and start fresh, you can sit near Olly and act like you've never met okay?Because... Now you can be confident and sassy if needed' Lola  nodded and Katie reapplied her mascara, blush, bronzer and eyeliner. Lola then added a bit of red lipstick and walked out with her head held high. 'Sorry about that guys,' she spoke ' Just needed to re apply some make and Katie had to come because I forgot my mascara.' Olly couldn't take his eyes of her.

The night went on and they were all laughing and every now and then Olly and Lola would hopple along to the bar together order their drinks and get to know each other more. As the night came to and end, Sarah and Dexter shared a taxi back as did Katie and Louise so the only 2 people left were Lola and Olly. They talked more and played 'truth' it was Olly's turn to ask a question ' Okay Lola, how long have you had a crush on someone for?' She looked up and said ' This may sound crazy but i've had a crush on someone for nearly 20 years now and whenever someone comes i push them away hoping he will come back.' He looked at her and could see she was hurt. ' It's your turn' he said. She shook her head coming back. ' Hmm... You've sang with a lot of people.' She stated ' But... who was your favorite to work with.' It took Olly a while to reply with this question. ' hmm... that's tough.' he replied. ' Although they're not famous, my favorite duet would've had to be with Lol Waters. We sang 'One sweet day' By Mariah Carrie and Boys 2 men. I remember her singing her first line, her voice was like an angels and i just felt a connection.' Lola felt her heart sink, she so wanted to tell Olly that she was Lol but didn't know what to do....
