Today started off as any normal day, Olly woke up and so did Lola, Lola had breakfast as Olly went in the shower and vice versa. It turned 10 and Olly and Lola went shopping, they bought a new dinning set, ingredients, wine glasses and everything else to make a dinner perfect. They got home at 11 and Olly took Lola back out. He bought a suit and bought her a dress.
It turned 12 and Lola started on the tea. "Just to let you know Olls, my dad thinks you will leave me 'because your a pop star' and my mum doesn't know what to think half the time." Lola said with a smile. "Babe, I'll never leave you." Olly replied. "Yeah. We'll make sure he know that." Olly thought of Lola's reply and thought to himself 'I will.' "I'm still bummed tho Olls. It's our 5 month anniversary and we have my parents over." Olly chuckled. "It will still be special because I'll be here with you." Lola smiled as Olly kissed her cheek. Time flew by and it was 5. "I'm off to get ready." Lola said after she kissed Olly's cheek. She jumped in the shower, curled her hair, put it partially back and wore the white lace dress Olly had got her. She wore the necklace he got her and shouted him. He ran upstairs , "what's wrong babe?" He said worried. Lola giggled, "nothing I wanted to give you this." She replied as she handed him a suit and a bottle of after shave. "Thanks babe I love it." He replied with a cheeky grin. Lola kissed his cheek and walked downstairs. It was now 7 and Lola grew more nervous her parents were due any moment now. Olly grabbed her hand then... The doorbell went.

In sync, Olly and Lola stood up to answer the door. Lola let go of Olly's hand and reached for the handle. "Mum! Dad! Come in" Lola said as she hugged her parents. "Good evening Mr and Mrs waters." Olly said as he shook Lola's dads (Steve) hand and kissed Lola's mums (Janet) hand....

Dinner went amazing both parents got on with Olly and everything was perfect. "Olly can you come outside for a moment please?" Steve asked. Olly gulped as Lola gave him a confused but don't worry smile.

Olly's p.o.v
'Why did he want to speak to me and more importantly alone?' Was all I could think when Steve asked me to go outside. "Listen Olly. He said as I gulped "Lola's had her heart broken before and I don't want you to break it again! Understand?" I nodded. "Yes sir, can I ask you something?" "Sure." He replied. Rubbing the back of my neck I began to speak... " Can I have your blessing to ask Lola a life changing question?" He replied "it depends.... What is this question?"

Authors p.o.v

Olly and Steve went back in as Lola and her mum had just finished washing the pots. They all sat down in the living room and Steve nodded at Olly... Lola was confused as was Janet.

"Okay so Lola..." Olly began. "I know we've only been seeing each other five months but..." He continued as he went down on one knee. "Lola, I knew I wanted you to be Mrs.Murs since I first laid eyes on you. So Lola Waters will you become Lola Murs.... Lola will you marry me? Olly spoke staring into Lola's sparkling blue eyes which were tearing up. She nodded "Yes Olly. I will. I will marry you. I love you!" She replied. "I love you too." Olly said placing the ring on her finger. "We have to go tell your mum and dad." Lola said in a hurry, Steve and Janet were leaving so Olly and Lola did.

"Mum,dad." Olly started as he grabbed Lola's hand, "Wait! Vicky butted in... "Is Lola pregnant?" Olly laughed. "No mum but she's gonna be a Murs soon." Olly replied happily as Lola showed them the engagement ring. "aww that's lovely." Vicky cooed. "I'm proud of you son." Peter said as he grabbed Olly's shoulder. "Thanks dad I was worried shed say no considering we've only been together 5 months... But it felt right. He replied as he smiled. "Come on the darl. we better be going." Olly said as he took Lola's hand. They arrived home and went to bed.

Both of them fell asleep with a smile on their faces. They were so ecstatic they were engaged.
