➼ ROMAN

We left the house after Andreas horrible flirting and me trying to convince a girl I barely know to go on a date with me.
"What the fuck is wrong with the both of you?" Dominic asks. Andrea looks at him with a confused expression.
"You're both practically worshiping the ground those girl walk on, are you guys high?"
"We weren't acting weird, at least I wasn't." I say glancing at Andrea.
She punches my shoulder, and I wince.
"Shut up, I wasn't acting like that. You must be hallucinating." She says, turning her head to look out the window.
Dominic looks at her again and shakes his head. I would agree with him, but I can't really say anything knowing im im the same situation as her.

Jennie was really excited about my date with Roman. She was rambling about finding the perfect dress from me.
I stopped paying attention to her after she started discussing what lingerie I should wear.
All my thoughts were focused on my hands. I stared at them, paying close attention to the lines.
The last time I went on a date, my white palm with its pretty brown lines my mother used to trace were stained with blood.
Jennies words snapped me out of my thoughts. "So red or black?"
I giver her a small smile and tell her "black would look good." She smiles at me and brings out jewelry.
'What if he kills him?'
Jennie's cold hands touch my ears as she tests a pair of gold earring, to see if they would go well with my outfit.
"Jennie it really isn't that big of a deal, it's just a date." I say standing up from my bed.
"You haven't been on one since..." She stops and glances at me before resuming. "It might not be important to you, but it's important to me. You seem to like him or at least his dick." She says with a teasing smirk on her face.
"Shut up and let me see the outfit." I say punching her in the shoulder.
"This is abuse, your hitting me cause I told the truth."
"You're so annoying."

"Where are you going?" Rio asks looking at me up and down.
"Somewhere." I say walking past him.
"With the Moretti boy?" Drew asks. "Yeah." I say trying to avoid eye contact with Rio.
"You're putting yourself in danger by hanging around that boy." He says.
"He's not a boy and it won't last long anyways. He'll get tired of me and we'll be done." I say shrugging.
"Aspen, stop saying that." Jennie says softly.
"You think you'll get over him that easily? Aspen I see the way you look at him."
"He's noting, it's just a date. Okay?" I say looking at him. His eyes filled with overprotectiveness. Drew looks the same.
I hear the doorbell ring.
'Roman.'
Rio heads to door before me. He looks at me and opens the door. He looks Roman up and down.
"Hey Moretti, heard you taking my sister out on a date."  He gives him a big smile.
Drew walks up to Rio and puts his hand on his shoulder.
"You should start going Aspen." Drew says with a smile.
I give him a small thank you smile and grab Romans hand and walk to the black car.
"Your brother doesn't seem to like me."
"He's just overprotective over me, they're all like that."
He nods and squeezes my hand. I realized that my hand never left his.

He pulls out the chair for me to sit on. And he sits on the opposite side of me. I look around the restaurant and realize it's empty.
"This place seems pretty expensive, why is there no one here?"
"I rented it out." He says nonchalantly.
"You what?!"
"Would you prefer it if I bought the restaurant? If you like the place I'll get it." He says with a serious look on his face.
The waiter comes to take our order.
As we patiently wait for our order in a comfortable silence.
Roman breaks it by asking... "what's your favorite color?"
"Guess."
"Black."
"Why do you say that?"
"You wear it all time. Guess mine?" He says tilting his head as he asks me to guess his favorite color.
"My favorite is actually pink and red. And your favorite is red."
"Wrong guess, it's actually purple."
I let out a dramatic gasp and he chuckles.
"Did not expect that, why is it your favorite?" I ask with genuine curiosity.
"It's the same color of lingerie you were wearing the day I first met you, I thought that purple had never looked so good. So It became my favorite color."
"How on earth do you remember that? I'd think you were obsessed with me or something."
"Do you want me to be?" He says with a smirk on his face.
