Special Chapter: Swear By the Pirates' Code! pt. 1

Rose is in her bed asleep. Just then, the bedroom mirror glow bright and the air is cold as it rushes from the open window, the sound stirring Rose from her slumber. One sleepy eye cracks open inside the dark room, glass on the nightstand rattling and curtains swishing, as a shadow is perched at the windowstill.

(dream)

A pirate ship in waters clear, sparkling as the sun shines colorlessly above. On the deck, many men dance and sing in joy.

Pirates singing: ♫ Ohh, a pirate's life is a wonderful life ♫

♫ They never bury yer bones ♫

♫ But when it's all over ♫

♫ A jolly sea rover ♫

♫ Drops in on his friend Davy Jones ♫

♫ Ohh, his very good friend Davy Jones ♫

A man with deep ink black hair smokes preoccupied, soon hitting the table and map in frustration. Just then a shorter man joyfully strolls in with a silver platter in hand.

Captain Hook: Blast that Peter Pan! If only I could find his hideout, I'd trap him in his lair! But where is it?

Mr. Smee: Captain, you know, I can't help noticin', you just ain't been your usual jolly self of late. Now, why don't we put to sea, see? Forget Peter Pan.

Their conversation is cut short as a man in the crow's nest yells, at the top of his lungs, the sighting of this Peter Pan. Not a moment is wasted as all men rush to prepare cannons, swords, guns- bloodlust thickest near the presumed Captain as he dones his coat and hat.

Captain Hook: Look alive, you swabs! We've got him this time! I've waited years for this.

(dream end)

The air is cold as it rushes from the open window, the sound stirring Rose from her slumber. One sleepy eye cracks open inside the dark room, glass on the nightstand rattling and curtains swishing, as a shadow is perched at the windowstill.

???: Could've swear he was around here....

Jumping to her knees, Rose grabs the first thing she can- her pillow. The sudden shift on the bed wakes Grim with a similar startle.

Grim: Zz.. Roya... HYAA!! W-who are you! Show your face before I burn you!

???: Whoa! What's that raccoon!? Hey come here for a sec-

The fight stance and flames of the beast are easily ignored by the intruder, as is the girl brandishing her pillow ready to strike. Grim's protests do nothing to stop the guy that's now grabbing and mushing his soft safe, until he bites at the hand pulling his ear.

???: Hey that hurts!

In turn Grim is given a bonk on the head, stronger than it seemed given his loud yell in protest. Amidst the frankly bizarre scene, Rose finally finds her voice and ventures a simple question.

Rose: Who are you!?

???: Oh, you there! Did you see a guy with black hair come in?

Rose shakes her head as Grim hurries to escape the clutches of the invader, back to standing in front of her protectively. The stranger simply snaps his fingers in dejection.

???: Darn. He must be somewhere else. Well, see ya!

Rose: Wait a moment!

???: What? Do you want an autograph? I get that a lot, just make it quick.

Grim: Grrr! Who do you think you are! Wait, forget that, he's flying!

Rose's eyes widens same as Grim's when noticing the stranger is not touching the ground at all, and prompted by the attention he swirls around and lounges back, showing off his weightlessness.
