You started to open your eyes and saw a little girl staring at you.
Y/N: GAH!!
you fumbled backwards then off the bed.
She then giggled.
???: Sorry mister, I didn't mean to scare you like that.
Y/N: You chuckled, It's alright.
???: I was just so curious you looked so different than my mommy and my daddy it made me wonder where you were from!
Y/N's thoughts: Crap,I gotta think of something so I don't hurt this little girl's feelings.
Y/N: I used to live near vale more on the outskirts you could say.
???: ooooh, That sounds cool!
Y/N's thoughts: whew she bought it, hopefully she won't find out. I don't want to hurt her feelings.
Y/N: What is your name?
You brushed your hand through her hair.
She stuck her tongue out at you.

Y/N: Lily, huh?
Lily: Yeah, you like my name?
Y/N: I think it's pretty.
Lily: she blushes a little. Thank you.
Y/N: soo, where is your parents?
Lily: daddy is getting food and mother should be in shortly. Daddy wanted me to watch you until mother got in.
Y/N: Your dad really must trust you.
Lily: Yeah he sure does!
Lily: We haven't gotten any visitors in years not since my brother died.
Y/N: You had a brother? Yeah, he used to visit a lot from atlas. He stopped showing up all of a sudden, I didn't understand until both my daddy and my mother were crying when someone had come to the door.
Y/N:....
Lily: They still didn't tell me all of what happened but I know he is dead * starts crying * Why don't they tell me?
You were both on the floor as you were listening to her.
You got close and hugged her as she cried, your wings encased her as she cried about her brother.
Lily: *sniff* Do they even care about me?
Y/N: Yes, they do I bet they love you so much.
Lily: *Sniff* really? Her left fox ear twitched.
Y/N: I know so.
She hugged me tightly and started to fall asleep in my chest. I layed back on the bed looking down at Lily. Thinking how I got myself here.
Y/N's Thoughts: she is really cute when she sleeps.
She is curled up almost in a ball on your legs.
???: Sweetie!
There was a door that opened.
???: Sweeti- Oh.
She sees me with lily sleeping on me.
She comes over and picks up lily.
???: *Whispers* I will be back.
You nod as she walks out.
2 minutes later.
She walks back in.
