Lukewarm water
Laughter and glowing eyes;
Caress and play kisses
Silence fills the night, embrace
In each other arms our minds
Drifts away
While hearts tend to speak
Thinking of what could have–
Happened if we'd just give up,
On playing a game of push and pull letting the cheater Won,
would fate still drag–
Us back to where they knew our heart
Belonged?
Or would the moon find–
A single star for us on its own?
Thought that there wouldn't be enough
Match to light the candles hidden in
The darkness but we found a way;
To shine even in the shadows of people's
Opinions and judgmental voices
Somehow we still found a way to set the
Building on fire then caved a path after,
Letting the heat from the flame to manipulate our body's
While Burning us to infinity–
Exposing our deepest desires
Somehow we still found each other
Through the dust and the smoke.
