Pumpkin pie and spiced
On the brown and orange of breezy fall
In the kitchen smells
Nice reminds me of
Old child hoods that slowly
Died,
Bicycle rides on sunny hills we road,
And Stealing candy from a store,
Through lively neighborhoods
Taller and older while hair grew shorter
Books and boys,
School and living in a body that feels
Like pins and needles,
Teenage bullies-
Day dreams, and non stop overthinking
Strangers that no longer tie a knot
That was once connected but strangers who now
Walk past each other without sparing a
A single glance , with scissors in hand
old dance videos that went viral,
how I do remember
Left many trails behind that'll
Led you to the past life you lived once or maybe twice .
