It was a Thursday afternoon SpongeBob was doing what he does best, making Krabby patty's, Patrick had walked into the kitchen (even though he wasn't allowed to be in there) "Hey SpongeBob!" Patrick said "You ready for your special night with Squidward?" "You bet, I can't wait to show him what I had got for him!" that's when Patrick remembered "Wait don't you have a late shift today?" "JUMPING JELLYFISH I FORGOT,
ooo how am I supposed to explain this to Squidward,
tonight was supposed to be a special night." "Well Just explain it to him it can't be that hard." "No Patrick, you don't understand I told Squidward that tonight I was free and I had no plans, on top of that he's been getting on my case about these late shifts." "SpongeBob would you rather not tell him and suffer the consequences or be honest with him and work it out?" SpongeBob took a moment to think about it "*sigh* I guess it wouldn't hurt, to tell the truth." "THERE YOU GO SPONGEBOB!" "Thanks Patrick, I'm glad we had this talk." "No problem buddy." after Patrick and SpongeBob had their conversation Patrick left to go jelly fishing in the jelly fields.
Late that evening SpongeBob had explained to Squidward why he would be late tonight (again) and that he's sorry for forgetting, Squidward had completely understood but was still a little upset that he had forgot and didn't tell him sooner.
As time had passed it was getting really REALLY late usually SpongeBob was home by 11:35 but it was 1:24 Squidward noticed staring in disbelief at what time it was, I guess he lost track in time being on his shell phone, but he was getting very worried that something might have happened, Squidward decided to call Patrick "Uh hello?" "Patrick have you heard from SpongeBob he was supposed to come home around 11 but it's 1 do you know anything?" "You haven't tried calling him.?" "I have but he hasn't been answering them" "He didn't tell you anything else about his shift." "No just that he's coming home at 11 and that he's sorry for forgetting to tell me the news sooner." "It's fine, well all I know is he has a late shift that's it." Squidward sighs with disappointment "I'll just check around bikini bottom thanks anyways." Squidward hangs up the shell phone before Patrick could say anything else as, Squidward checked the entire town he couldn't find him so he went to the place he should have gone first the Krusty Krabs, Squidward curiously walks in but his attention is caught off guard "That's strange Mr. Krabs never leaves the front door unlocked!?" he goes back to what he was here for he checks the kitchen first, nothing there, then he checks near the dumpster (SpongeBob is usually there since he wants to make sure the kitchen is extra clean and no garbage is laying around) then he goes to check Mr. Krabs' office, and then he sees it he sees his husband his love with that crab the one and only Mr. Krabs all up on his sponge, Squidward runs away crying thinking how could his partner do this to him he thought he loved him, he starts to run to his house thinking to himself about SpongeBobs betrayal, once he gets home he runs to his room and starts sobbing.
