Patch Notes (A VERY Big Author's Note)

Hi guys! I've fully returned to Krimson City and Stefano Valentini's mind.

Since it's been a while (a whole four years!) since I've touched this fic, I decided to clean up a lot of the writing in the previous chapters, and since some of those changes were major to the plot, I decided that it would be best to just type out a whole breakdown of what got changed in each chapter.

Chapter 1- Spelling and grammar

Chapter 2- Grammar and past tense

Chapter 3- Spelling and grammar. One sentence for flavor was added. When describing the dream knife, gold was changed to titanium.

Chapter 4- This one was almost entirely rewritten, but the stuff pertaining to the Valentinis is relatively unchanged.

Chapter 5- Fixed the ramping issue in Stefano's inner monologue ramping up to him kicking the wall. Also made the more logical decision for him to crawl to the stairs rather than him trying to walk on a broken foot. (He does still fall down the stairs and break his nose.)

Chapter 6- Flavor text

Chapter 7- Stefano and Yukiko are now high school juniors rather than freshman. It is also now spring 2002 rather than fall 1999. Stefano's foot is still broken since I got rid of the time lapse. Yukiko is more friendly to Stefano and no longer wears her specific emotions on her sleeve (to make her truer to her in game counterpart).

Chapter 8- Flavor text and continuity

Chapter 9- Megan rejects Stefano. Yukiko invites Stefano to the movies (which has been changed to Die Another Day because I love that movie).

All chapters- Stefano now refers to his home city as "Venezia" instead of "Venice" (shoutout to Ghiacchio for catching that one for me).

If you don't feel like going back and reading all the changes from the beginning (understandable) then I would highly recommend at least rereading chapters 7 and 9 since those two chapters had majors changes.

With all that being said, thank you to everyone that's looking forward to reading the next chapters! I swear I'll at least get to the fun parts I was looking forward to writing back in high school!
