"I appreciate your enthusiasm, but today is just not the day to be pointing mysterious swords into my face"Ophelia grumbled
As the boys mouth had opened, Ophelia's thoughts grabbed her in an instant
She had come back to the place where everything had begun, where all her worries had led her and the reason why she had come to run away
The memories had been enough to bring back the trauma of the night she'd broken and after many years she had found a way to put herself back together
So that the ocean couldn't grab her and throw her into the darkness it had done once
And yet here she is again being tested by the gods once more
Maybe it's to see if she had built her armor strong enough or because she had left an open crack just behind her heart
Ophelia hadn't noticed this crack, how it seemed to widen even more as she had entered this place and how soon enough there be a hole in it's place waiting ... just waiting to be torn apart with or without her armor... she knew she would be-
"We need to leave now"The mysterious man pulled Ophelia by her arm grabbing a few strands of her hair that had fallen out
As they ran leaves crunched up underneath them and their ragged breaths filled the air
Ophelia hadn't known what they had been running away from but if she had gotten that feeling of wrongness she knew something was wrong
The boy had come to a holt, having Ophelia bump into his back
He turned around as he knelt on one knee gently placing it on the ground
His eyes shot a bright green leaving Ophelia in shock as he heard the wind shifting
"Uzecu"he muttered under his breath putting an invisible shield around them
As the Zecean's crawled closer, he stopped breathing as it ran full speed past them
The fear he had felt when he first arrived had know vanished into thin air and courage, bravery and adrenaline filled his veins
Maybe it was because of the girl when he had first met her with the anger, guilt and fear filled her eyes or how her presence had been the only reason why he ran
To save her?
Before he had run into her, he swore that he gave up, that he'll rather have it take him than have starve to death
But now he had a new reason to live... a reason to survive
A reason the protect the girl
