Scene 1

Glaring lights shone in his eyes as he stood in the centre of the stage, "Thank you everyone!" he exclaimed in gratitude at the thousands of screaming fans. "Now, this song, goes out to someone very special to me" he said in a sentimental tone, staring into the eyes of a distant lover with bright cheeks in the middle of the crowd. He couldn't help but smile at her, her gentle expression bringing a flare of pink to his face. When suddenly, he heard an alarm beckoning to him, and another day began yet again.

He groaned as he lazily turned off his alarm, "ahh another school day". As he went off to turn off his alarm he noticed he slept through his first alarm. He frantically got out of bed and brushed his hair, it was getting so long he could almost tie it in a ponytail, he'd have ask his mum to cut it again. He took his grey shirt, ripped jeans, binder, and boots before racing to the bathroom. Catching himself off guard as he noticed his sister's jock jacket resting ideally on his doorknob.

He quickly tied it around his waist, contemplating as he was ushering around the bathroom whether he should wear it or not. If it hadn't had that stupid music pattern embroidered into the sleeve he might consider it, but of course his older sister insisted on "adding flare" to her old jacket. He missed her more every day, and wearing it was like a reminder that she was always going to be by his side, even if she wasn't there. Even with that thought hanging over his heart, he still couldn't bring himself to wear it.

"Jake, hurry up!" his mother called in a frustrated tone from downstairs, "Coming!" he said before quickly running down.

Scene 2

Whenever he was in the car he liked to pretend he was in a corny or intense music video, letting his mind trail off into endless daydreams before being startled by the faces of his friends as his mother pulled up to the school. "Have a good day! And don't be late your sister is coming home tonight", his mother said as he got out of the car "I won't, love you!" he replied as he ran towards his friends.

He smiled as he saw his friends bickering in the distance, Drew staring at his phone with an unphased expression. "You're out of your mind Liam! Get your head out of your ass for once in your life!" Henry exclaimed to his friend, who was grinning cunningly.

"Sup guys!" Jake said casually, joining up with the group.

"Jake back me up here! Tell Liam that Stacey is way hotter than her mum!" He pleaded desperately, the redhead still smiling slyly.

"uhh, what?" Jake replied in a confused tone.

"You have to admit that Stacey's mum has got it going on"

"You're messed up dude" Henry remarked disturbed.

"Hey Jake, you know how I asked my parents for the new PS5 for my birthday?" Drew asked whilst looking at Jake, completely ignoring his friend's conversation. "Oh yea, did they say yes?" Jake replied with a smile.

"Well, they brought it for me last night, now I can play the new modern warfare on my new AK ultra-y monitors" Drew bragged proudly

"Must be nice having rich parents" Jake murmured under his breathe.

"Hey, look whose about to walk past" Drew said teasingly, slight nudging his friend. "Good morning guys!" Daisy said, her voice echoing like the sounds of an angel, at least that's what it felt like for him. His heart began to beat like a drum as his face turned bright red.

"Morning Daisy" Jake stuttered, "Hey" Drew replied casually. Daisy was considered the social butterfly of the school; she wouldn't consider herself "popular" but everyone who knew her would. She usually stuck to her main friend group, Sadie, Elliot, and Stacey and mingled here and there with other students in her many extra-curricular activities. She was so sociable that she managed to make friends with anyone she happened to spark conversation with. Jake although being slightly obnoxious, couldn't help but get flustered around her.
