Bad Feelings and Occurrences

Daniel's P.O.V

I couldn't sleep last night cause I was so nervous about the test today. Even when I managed to get some shut eye, my stupid alarm woke me up about 30 minutes later. I was a wreck. I was tired.

I stretched on my bed before rolling off my bed; barely catching myself before I could kiss the floor I was pretty sure I haven't swept throughout the week. I walked over to my closet, getting out an ironed white shirt and pairing it blue jeans and white Vans. I cleaned up Aiden first; wiping him with dry wipes and powdering him before closing his non-existent princely parts with a diaper and wrapping him a blue blankie. And then went to do my morning routine.

I heard Felix's horn blaring in the distance signaling that he was almost here. Don't ask me how I knew? I just know it's his horn. I bundled up my little Aiden and walked downstairs. I wasn't feeling like having breakfast as I was nervous and I may throw up anything I eat, so I decided to go with a breakfast bar.

Munching on it, I went outside to see Felix already pulling up in front of my house. I gave a little wave and walked towards his direction. I saw him get down from the car and to the other side, opening the door for me o enter but not before giving me a peck on the lips. I flushed red and ducked my head down to avoid his intense gaze. He closed the door softly and went into his car.

Felix seemed to know that I wasn't really myself today because he kept his hand in mine throughout the ride; never once letting go. He parked in one of the empty slots in the school's parking lot and opened my side, so I could get down. We didn't have to sign in today as it was the last day but we had Home Economics class sitting at the last two periods before school dismisses for the day. I just wanted to get it over with but at the same time I didn't.

And most of all, I didn't know what will happen to me and Felix now. We decided not to date until we were done with the project to really know where we stand. I knew I really liked Felix and he also showed me he liked me too but I wasn't him, so I couldn't be sure.

Towards lunchtime I had this bad feeling that something bad was going to happen, so I decided to tell Felix of my bad feelings. Surprisingly, he didn't laugh at me or call me too superstitious and he said that we could go to Miss Berry and tell her to do a check up on Aiden and I agreed.

Miss Berry gave us a thumb up and marked us for Perfect Baby Care, using a little red pen to mark Aiden's back but told us that we would still have to sit for the test.

We had three periods after lunch before school closes for the week as Friday was a half-day. At lunch, Felix told me he had to go do something for his little brother that was in Grade 1. I was left sitting alone until Bella came and sat with me. I smiled at her but it didn't reach my eyes. I was a little suspicious as she hadn't been sitting with me for a few days and she normally ignores me when I try to talk to her. Now she was here smiling as if we were in best of terms.

Aiden was in my arms and I was moving me from side to side. I wouldn't really be able to do it out in the open again as the project was ending today.

"Hi Daniel". Bella greeted with a smile... no... that didn't look like a smile. More like an evil smirk. I decided to play along with whatever stupid game she was playing.

"Hi Bella". I greeted back. I was seriously in no mood to deal with her. She didn't say anything more and neither did I. We just ate our food in silence and soon the bell went off and students were scrambling out of the cafeteria to get to their various classes. I'd decided not to wait for Felix because we didn't have the same class. I waited for a while, so that the hallways would be a little quite and less shove-y before I could go to class. Bella also waited with me as we had the same class.
