"Look!" Pica calls to me. He's been coloring in Auggie's tattoos with Mr. Scent markers for a while, and he's immensely proud of himself.
"Very nice," I laugh, ruffling his hair.
"Wanna do the one on my back too?" Auggie asks idly.
"Yeah!"Auggie yanks off his shirt and Pica gasps, pointing to his top surgery scars.
"Are d'ose tattoos too?"
"Those are scars, love." At that, Pica's eyes fill with tears.
"Auggie got boo-boo?" Auggie and I make eye contact and burst out laughing. "Don' laugh! Auggie got boo-boo!"
"Don't worry, honey," I say gently, planting a kiss on his temple. "Those don't hurt anymore! Auggie used to have boobies but he took them off because she didn't like them.""People c'n do d'at?" The little asks incredulously.
"Yeah!" Auggie says excitedly. "I didn't like my body so I changed it! It made me really happy." Pica ponders this for a moment.
"I's glad Auggie happy," he eventually decides on, uncapping a purple marker and wiggling around so he can have access to the bigger man's back."Thanks for letting him do this," I whisper. "He was bored out of his mind." A sharp thud from the direction of the foyer alerts us to the return of Tristan and Iggy.
"We're back! We have snacks!" Pica perks up and darts to the front of the apartment.
"Snacks!" He demands. I pull myself to my feet and go to relieve the two older people of the grocery bags.
"Welcome back," I smile.
"Snacks," Pica whines again."Say please," I tell him, nudging the little with my hip.
"Snacks peaz."
"Good job. I'll make you something."
"Where's Auggie?" Tristan asks eagerly.
"Back room," I reply. He rushes off to find his boyfriend.Iggy stays to help me lug the bags to the kitchen, their makeup flawless (as usual).
"What eyeliner is that? Pica's been needing a new one," I ask idly, pulling out some bread and peanut butter, setting it aside for the little's snack.
"I just got it!" They reply excitedly. They then go on to ramble about Sephora and their favorite brands. It's nice to hear them talk- they have a very melodious voice."Snack?" Pica plops down on the floor and wraps his limbs around my leg.
"In a minute, bub," I assure him gently.
"Make him the snack, I can put the rest of this away," Iggy tells me, eyes kind. I smile gratefully and they hand me a butter knife. I diligently spread peanut butter on the bread and use sliced bananas to make them look like bears, the snack on a paper plate."Go eat this with Auggie and Tristan," I wiggle my leg to alert Pica and say, "I'll bring you some milk in a sec." The boy leaps up and snatches the plate, running off to go find the others.
"He will never get any less adorable," Iggy sighs contentedly. I nod in agreement while filling up a sippy cup (Tristan keeps a stash here) with chocolate milk.As I make my way down the hall to give the beverage to Pica, I hear him singing "I've Been Working On The Railroad" and the other two men giggling.
"Derek got a new piercing," Auggie tells me upon entering. I quirk one brow and hand the sippy cup to Pica, whose mouth is smeared with peanut butter. The little immediately guzzles it, delighted, and I peer over at Auggie's phone. On the screen, Derek is sporting a new eyebrow ring, the silver glinting.
"His face is all red," I note, giggling.
"Shhh," Tristan smiles. "Be nice."
"Yeah! B' nice, Jojo!" We all giggle at the sight of Pica- covered in peanut butter, hair sticking up at odd angles.
"I am being nice!"
"Don' be a bully! Sharin' is carin'!" I laugh harder at that. I've been using that saying recently to help him remember to share his snacks and toys, and in turn he's been using it to justify other random things like stealing my shoes or licking my hand."What in the-" Iggy says when they get a good look at my little.
"Don't ask," I grin in response. "We're having fun."A/N
