'Another's Life'

For one to have manners,

And to see them at peace fills me with joy.

For one to know who my friends are,

Which releases the weight tied to my ankle, dragging me down.

To know who to trust and to return that feeling,

I refrain from descending down into the wicked abyss of another's life.

Another life gone.

Another life awakens.

I've been told to consider how I act.

What do I need to consider?

My opinions? My thoughts?

My pride and joy over this young soul's life?

Let them see me walk out the door.

To see me leave their toxic femininity.

To see me gone

And awaken to the lies.

Just let me be,

To fall asleep.
