Modern day, Remus and Sirius are roommates and studying in college. James and Lily are in a relationship and living together in an apartment.

Remus and Sirius were dating now for 6 months, but in secret. Sirius was openly gay and disowned by his family. Remus can't let people know because he was scared of what will his parents say, they accepted him as bisexual, but having a real boyfriend he doesn't want to push his luck.

Before confessing to Sirius, Remus had a girlfriend, Emma. Remus decided that he will not break up with her and will date Sirius in private. Sirius was okay with it until Remus' birthday, and Emma said she will take Remus somewhere for a full day on his birthday.

"Remus, no you had spent full valentine's day with her and I didn't say anything, but not your birthday. I don't care, tell her you are sick or anything, but you will spend your birthday with me." Sirius yelled at Remus when they were alone in their apartment.

"Siri, please understand I can't tell her that, she will get hurt and snap," Remus replied, calmly.

"Oh, oh okay fine, do whatever you want. I am done" Sirius snapped,

"What do you mean you are done?" Remus asked.

"No, you care that she will get hurt, but you don't care that I am getting hurt every day, whenever I see you kiss her in the college corridor, hold her hand, when she shows you off or when she comes home and I have to sleep in my room alone" Sirius is now breaking down

"You don't care what I feel, you care about her. Then fine be happy. I. Am. Leaving" Sirius said and stormed out of the apartment.

Sirius goes to James and Lily's apartment and tells them that he broke up with his boyfriend because he is too scared to tell everyone. They didn't know about Remus but they know that Sirius has a secret boyfriend.

"Honey, you are always welcome at our house, but you know you always feel relaxed when you share all your thoughts with Remus, why aren't you home?" Lily asked, James, nodded in agreement.

Sirius broke down more, "Uh-um, well he is not at home, maybe out with Emma" Sirius replied between crying.

"No, honey Emma is out of town, wait let me call him, maybe he is out for something else," Lily said, picking her phone to dial but Sirius stops her

"Um, I guess you are right, maybe he is at home, I will go thanks bye." Sirius said quickly, hugged James, and kissed Lily on the cheek.

Sirius got back to the apartment, he opened the door and saw Emma is sitting on Remus' lap and kissing him, they both don't have their uppers on. Sirius's heart shattered, tears falling from his eyes. He closed the door with a loud noise.

Sirius goes to the bar, and starts drinking. His heart is aching now, he never thought that Remus would do anything like that. "Sirius" a hand tapped on Sirius' shoulder, he turned and saw his ex.

"Um, Hi Larry" Sirius said, with red eyes.

"Hey, why are you crying, something happened?" Larry asked,

"Um, no nothing, just fought at home, as usual," Sirius lied, sadly smiling, "You say wassup" he continued.

"Oh, I am here with them, as usual," Larry said and pointed toward Lucius, Severus, and Tom. Sirius nodded and started drinking again.

Larry sat beside Sirius, rubbing his hand on Sirius' thigh "So, having a bad day, I guess." Larry said, sounding more seductive than sympathetic.

"Um not a bad day just a rough but heading home now, bye I guess," Sirius said, getting uncomfortable, he tries to leave but Larry hold his wrist tightly.

"C'mon Sirius, have some fun" Larry said, and dragged Sirius to a dark and empty corner. Pin him against the wall and kiss him roughly.

Peter saw that, immediately called James and told him everything. James and Lily rush inside the bar with Remus in 20 mins. James and Peter stop Lucius, Severus, and Tom while Lily was comforting Sirius and Remus beat the shit out of Larry.

Lily and four boys went back to Sirius and Remus' apartment. Sirius was crying on Lily's shoulder when Remus tried to hug him "Don't" Sirius shouted, leaving James Lily and Peter shocked.

"Siri, let me clean your lip," Remus said, trying to clean Sirius' lip.

"I said don't touch Remus. You can't touch me anymore, you lost that right." Sirius yelled, tears falling.

"Guys, what's going on?" Peter whispered, James and Lily, shrugged, and looked at Remus

"I don't know. Siri, what's wrong?" Remus asked, genuinely confused now.

"Oh, you don't know. Okay, maybe I was the one who was kissing Emma 2 hours ago. Maybe I am the one who is dating two people at the same time for nearly 6 months now. Right," Sirius yelled. Remus's jaw dropped, and fear started growing in his eyes.

"What the fuck Remus, you are cheating on Emma, with whom Ella" Lily yelled,

"ohhhh, so there is another girl, wow" Sirius said sarcastically.

"Sirius why are you behaving, all jealous and angry," James said,

"You are, you are the one who is dating Remus, he is the one who is scared to tell people, he is your secret boyfriend." James said, after realizing and placing things together.

"Yes, I am dating Sirius in private, I am scared to tell people, I am the cheater." Remus said, tears falling.

"Why Rem, you know you could have told us that. We haven't judged you." James said softly,

"I know, I know" Remus nodded, "Siri I love you, I do. I broke up with Emma. I wasn't kissing her. I was crying when you left me, then she came quietly and sat on my lap, removed my upper, and kissed me. When I realized I immediately removed her, told her everything, and broke up with her. Please forgive me. I am sorry I hurt you. Please, love" Remus begged, kneeling in front of Sirius. Sirius looked at James, Lily, and Peter.

"Umm, guys we should head off now. We will come back tomorrow, till then please sort everything out" Peter said, and they left.

"Siri, please love at least talk to me" Remus plead,

"Re I forgive you, but please I need time. I am hurt Re, you have to understand that. I am exhausted emotionally and physically. At least till morning. Goodnight Re" Sirius said, going to his bedroom.

Sirius couldn't sleep all night, but was thinking about what had happened. He cried whenever he thought about Remus kissing Emma or when Larry kissed him forcefully. He needed Remus's arms to calm down. He got up and checked the time, 4:00 am. He quietly goes to Remus' bedroom and sees him looking at their photos and crying.

"Um, can't sleep" Sirius said, leaning to door frame

"Come here" Remus said, and opened his arms. Sirius quickly goes to him and hugs him tightly.

"Please never hurt me again Re. Please. I can't take it" Sirius said, full sobbing in Remus' arms.

"Never love never. Tomorrow I'm gonna tell my parents also" Remus said and pulled Sirius away from hug to see his face. Remus wipes the other man's tears and kisses him.

"I love you" Remus said after breaking the kiss

"I love you too," Sirius said and kissed him again. They slept curled up into each other.

Next day, Remus told his parents and they accepted him and Sirius immediately. When James, Lily and Peter came, both of them told the other three that they are together, happy and openly.
