P R O P O S A L

Four years after graduating from Hogwarts, James decided to propose to Lily at Frank and Alice's wedding. Marlene and Dorcas have been married for 1 year, and Peter and Mary were on their honeymoon while Remus and Sirius are still dating.

Sirius felt a little sad but put on a happy face and congrats James and Lily. Remus seems to notice it, "Congrats lads, but I think we should head home. I am tired." Remus said, and hugged his friends before leaving.

"Hey Siri, what's up?" Remus said, while going home.

"Um oh nothing" Sirius replied, he was in deep thoughts while Remus interpreted him.

"C'mon baby tell" Remus put his hand around Sirius' shoulder.

 "Nothing Remus, just let's go home fast" Sirius jerks Remus's arm, Remus frowns and walks fast towards home.

Sirius opens the door and goes straight to their room, shutting the room door. Remus frowns more and sits on the couch waiting for Sirius to come out. "Baby, are you done changing? Will you come out and talk to me? What's wrong Siri" Remus asked.

"I said nothing, Remus. Nothing is wrong, everything is fine. We are fine." Sirius yelled back.

"No, nothing is fine. We are not fine. You are not fine and I know it." Remus knocks on the door.

"What" Sirius open the door,

"Tell me baby. Why are you all grumpy" Remus cups Sirius's face?

"You don't want me anymore, right. You don't see any future with me, right." Sirius closed his eyes and let tears fall.

"Bullshit Sirius, who told you this. Baby, I love you, of course, I see a future with you. How can I not want you more" Remus wipes Sirius's tears?

 "Then why don't we talk about marriage Remus, why haven't you proposed to me yet. Everyone whom we know is married or going to marry." Sirius asked, he can't stop crying.

 "I heard you a few days back when you were with James on call and he was asking about our marriage. What am I doing wrong Remus, just tell me I will make it right." Sirius pleaded. 

"Nothing honey, you are not doing anything wrong. It's just I am scared Siri" Remus hugged Sirius.

 "You already had been through so much because of me and my furry little problem. I can't put more on you by asking you to marry me and tolerate me for the rest of your life. You deserve happiness Sirius, you deserve a life without danger and I can't give you that. We should not get married, Sirius. Please understand this, I can't put more problems in your life" Remus controls his tears. 

 Sirius pulls away from the hug, and death stares at Remus, "What the fuck Remus, you think I tolerate you. What is wrong with you? If you don't want to marry me just say so but don't play the victim. I am going to James' talk to me when you are in senses" Sirius leaves the house.

 Remus lay on the bed and cried, he doesn't want Sirius to go through with him for the rest of his life. Sirius deserves a life, a happy life and he can't provide him that. He is so fucked up.

 Sirius told everything to James and Lily, "James I don't understand why people don't want me. Why don't they want to live with me? Why don't they love me? Why do they always leave me alone? Am I that hard to live with or am I just useless and a burden to everyone? I guess mother was right, I am worthless, no one can ever love me or wants me" Sirius cried on James' shoulder. Lily and James are not able to see Sirius like this. Lily decided she will make things right and beat the shit out of Remus.

Next morning, "REMUS JOHN LUPIN, COME OUT RIGHT NOW" Lily screamed, after entering Remus' and Sirius' apartment,

"Lils" Remus is shocked.

"YOU BLOODY IDIOT. YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE, YOU DUFFER. I'M GONNA KILL YOU RIGHT NOW" Lily is shouting,

"Woah, Lils calm down and tell me whats wrong" Remus said.

 "What's wrong you are asking me what's wrong, have seen Sirius, do you don't remember what the fuck you had done. He is crying, Remus. He is thinking he is worthless, you made him think that his mother was right about him. What have you done? Re, I know why you are scared but Sirius knows it too Re, still he is willing to be with you. Don't do that to him. He is heartbroken Remus. Please fix it" Lily pleads, and Remus starts crying. 

Remus takes his car and drops Lily at James' and Lily's place. "I will fix everything I promise Lils, please tell Sirius to come with me," Remus said.

"Sure, I will go and get him," Lily smiles.

"Come sit" Remus said,

"Where are we going?" Sirius asked, his eyes red and puffing because of crying. 

"Siri I'm not gonna kill you I promise. Let's go on a drive to your favorite beach" Remus said.

"Fine" Sirius sits in the car. 

 After like 30 mins, "Baby can you open the dashboard and give my sunglasses my eyes are burning" Remus asked. Sirius is in shock, he had been crying since yesterday and Remus's eyes are burning unbelievable. 

 Sirius opens the dashboard and searches for Remus's sunglasses, Remus pulls the car to the side from where you can see the city from above. Remus walks out of the car and goes toward Sirius' side, opens the door, and gets on his knees. Sirius is confused when he finds a small box with Padfoot written on it.

 "Baby, I love you, I love you so much, you can't even imagine that. I am sorry I hurt you but I didn't mean to honey. I was scared and I am scared, but now I have you and I don't wanna lose you because of my idiotic furry little problem. I will try my best to make your life happy, and less dangerous. I will love you till my last breath. No one can ever replace your place in my heart."

"You own it Siri, and you will always own it, No matter what. Siri I know I am an idiot but I will try and work on us. I can never believe that almost 9 years ago, you accepted me as your boyfriend. And now after 9 years, I want to marry you. Want to have a family with you and want to replace your stupid horrible name with mine, if you are willing to take it. You are not a worthless baby. For me, you are worth more than my life. You know your mother was a bitch and don't ever believe anything she said."

"I love you and will always do, will you marry me Sirius Orion Padfoot Black?" Remus is crying now.

"Of course I will marry Remus John Moony Lupin. I love you too. Please don't ever leave me" Sirius hugs Remus. 

 They pull apart, Remus places a golden band on Sirius's finger, on which was written Wolf' baby on the outside and it was enchanted when you remove it, it will leave an imprint of Mischief Managed on your finger. Sirius placed a golden band on Remus's finger, on which it was written, Animagus' baby on the outside, with the same enchantment.

 They smile at each other with teary eyes and kiss before leaving to tell their friends. They are happy. They have each other.
