The students who were killed were children. Ages 9 to 11. Let it be known that they were young, they still had a lot to learn, their lives ripped away. The teachers who worried about if this would become reality for them, and it did.

This was a classroom. Children getting to learn something. Families have been changed forever.
Please, we need to change. I am scared. I am so scared that one day it might happen to my niece. I prepared myself in Elementary, middle, and high school for a school shooting. Students, children, families, and teachers shouldn't think when or if. It shouldn't even be a thought.
I have cried for people and for families that I don't even know.
