A/N
The chapters for this fic are going to be shorter at first (400-600 words or so) honestly because I'm too lazy to write them longer. Although they are short, that just means more chapters. If I find more motivation then the chapters will slowly start to become longer. 🫶🫶🫶

Also, the first few chapters are kind of slow but trust me, there will be some twists and angst coming up.

"Kisaki!" Rin yelled

"Kisaki!" Rin yelled. "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see. Just be patient!" Kisaki yelled back, grabbing Rin's hand. "Hold my hand. You'll just run away if you don't."

Grabbing Kisaki's hand back, Rin pouted, mumbling, "This better be worth it."

After a few minutes of walking, the pair ended up in front of a large shrine with people in black uniforms staring away from them — at a boy standing at the top of a staircase. This boy seemed to be making an anouncement.

Must be the leader or something. Rin thought to himself.

"The nomination for the Tokyo Manji Gang's third division caption..." A voice yelled from next to the 'leader.'

"Psst, Kisaki." Rin whispered. "Why are you wearing the same uniform as these delinquents?"

"Just be quiet." Kisaki whispered back.

"...Will now begin." The voice finished.

"Third division captain. Step forward!" The so-called leader yelled.

"Let's go." Kisaki said, walking over to the person who called him.

"Me too?" Rin questioned with a raised eyebrow. "I don't even know these people."

"Yes, you too. Just follow my lead and don't say anything stupid."

"Pffft. Like I would do that." Rin mumbled under his breath.

The pair walked towards the front of the stairs before climbing up a few steps and sitting down. Kisaki sat right below the leader and Rin sat a step down below Kisaki and to the right. The crowd of delinquents started yelling at Kisaki and Rin about how they don't have the right to turn their backs to their president.

Realizing his mistake, Rin twisted around so he could see the leader, muttering a small "sorry" as the president only shook his head in amusement.

The voice from next to the president spoke once again, "Listen up. The man sitting below me is the new third division captain, Tetta Kisaki!"

The crowd immediately denied respect to the new captain, yelling at him to leave.

Rin, getting fed up, decided to say something to stop the hate towards his friend. Standing up, he yelled to the delinquents, "SHUT UP. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING BUT I DO BELIEVE THIS PRESIDENT OF YOURS CHOSE KISAKI FOR A REASON. ARE YOU REALLY DISRESPECTING HIS DECISION?" Sitting back down, Rin gave a small thumbs up to Kisaki with a smirk.

"If anyone has a problem with Mikey's decision, step forward." The voice spoke once again.

Ah, his name is Mikey. Rin thought. That sounds like a foreigners name although he doesn't look like one.
