''Dear Diary...

When I think that yesterday I was in Mouseford Academy , busy packing a packed suitcase , and today I am in Rome , Italy ! What a happiness ! After arriving at the hotel , Charlotte , Deb , Pilar , Sunny and I had an unpleasant surprise : only one of the two rooms we reserved was available ! The other was given to a student from another academy , who claimed an entire floor just for her and her friends ! Our protests were for nothing , because the student in question is , excuse me a little...Priscilla de Principis , the heiress of the family that owns the establishment ! My dear diary , you should have had this : this girl had more luggage than all of us combined (yet our Charlotte never travels without at least six suitcases !) Finally , thanks to Deb's stubbornness , we were not discouraged and we asked the hotel concierge to provide us with two cots . Result : now we all share the same room . We almost can't move , and there's luggage everywhere , but that's all the funnier ! I have to leave you , because tomorrow is the inaugural lesson of our summer campus and I want to be in good mood !

M.R.

PS : A new adventure begins ! ''

Violet closed the notebook .

Pamela : Hey ! We didn't even know what this campus was ! Why did you stop? !

Tanya : Because in five minutes we have our dancing lesson with Professor Plié !

Pamela : You're right ! This diary is so exciting that it made us lose track of time !

As the girls rushed to the gymnasium , their thoughts lingered in the new premises of the Poets Club , in the heart of the unturned pages of the diary of the mysterious M.R. Before entering the dance hall , Colette stopped .

Colette : Girls , I would really like to know how the rest of our curious columnist's Roman vacation went...if we meet this afternoon at the club ? I suggest that you devote part of today's session to reading the diary .

Connie : If you want , Violet and I could make some tea and bring some cookies .

Pamela : Oh, yes ! Don't forget to bring some muffins , please !

Their comrades welcomed their proposals with enthusiasm . On Europa's side , her room is full of torn papers or rags , she spent whole days (according to Jupiterian time) writing and rewriting poetry for Callisto and Io to read . The theme of her poem is the friendship between the three mouselets . She desperately wanted her two friends to make peace . However , frustrated , Europa failed to write a good poem, she lacks inspiration .
