Alex's POV
After the talk with Hailey we had grown a bit close with each other but she still kind of hates me and that leads us to where we are now walking on the side of the road back home before we were stopped by Aphmau and Kawaii~chan calling us from the other side of the road and calling us to come over to them we complied with that and went over to them greeting them.
"Hey Aphmau and Kawaii~chan what do you guys need. " I greeted as Hailey just stood there.
"Hey Alex and uh Hailey," Aphmau started "we really need your help with something you guys."
"What is it you guys need help with." I asked because Hailey didn't look like she was going to talk anytime soon.
"Well you see Kawaii~chan wants to buy a guy a gift but Kawaii~chan does not what to get him." the meifwa whined.
"Don't worry Kawaii~chan I'll help you pick out a gift for this guy," I said "are you coming with us?" I asked turning to Hailey.
"I think I'll just head back to the house and rest . It's not like I'm there for anything." she said turning back but Aphmau grabbed her arm saying ,
"Hey uh I would like it if you came with us." she said smiling sheepishly
"Fine I'll come with you this one time only." she replied reluctantly I smiled at that because it would finally be a time she was out with anyone other than me, Anna.
"Alright now that it's settled let's go then." Aphmau said walking of in a straight direction.
We soon arrived at the mall and it was not as packed as I thought it would be . We stopped midway from the doors by Kawaii~chan asking if we knew his name and Aphmau replied with a yes but I did not .I secretly whispered Hailey if she knew and she and she answered with a yes and told me his name was Reese and told me he was from another dimension where he was a prince.
"I knew he was royalty the moment I laid eyes on him." the minute she said that, both Hailey and Aphmau said "Mother of Irene." and looked at each other before Aphmau chuckled a bit.
Kawaii~chan looked down for a bit before saying "W-What about boxers?"
"Uhhh Kawaii~chan that is really creepy."
"Yeah and especially for a guy that is creepy they will think your stalking them." I said after what Aphmau had responded with a small yeah.
"N-No like the ones at the novelty store?" Kawaii~chan started blushing after she said that.
"Don't you blush heh your blushing don't you see that," Aphmau said before sighing and whispering "Kawaii~chan."
"See this is why Kawaii~chan needs help she doesn't know what guys like , and she comes off creepy."
"Kawaii~chan like I know any better I barely know the guy , look if it were me I would honestly get him a gift card and call it a day." Aphmau said to the meifwa.
"No! That's too impersonal I want something special, " she said before looking at me "maybe Alex~kun could help me look for something."
I look at her pleading eyes and decide on actually helping her "Fine I'll help you look for something special for this guy." Her eyes instantly lit up after I said she reminded me of Annabeth but when she was younger before we were turned, I looked to my side and were Hailey was and saw that she was spaced out and probably did not even hear what we were saying.
"Well lets go inside and look around then , in we go. "
Hailey's POV
I had soon spaced out of their conversation and only got out of my trance when Alex shook my shoulder. He soon told me that we were already heading inside the mall , and noticed Aphmau and Kawaii~chan already ahead of us.
