They then start calling for their father, "Da! We're down here!" Bard hears them and makes for them. Suddenly an ugly small troll walks up behind them, snarling. He lifts his maze but stops short as fire engulf him. Bard and his children run up an empty street, glancing up as the shadow of their savior flies abode. "she is truly mighty," bain says, and his sisters agree.. their father is silent.

The battle rages on, and Tatsuo helps to the best of her fire and talon abilities. She kills many orcs and trolls, but they always seem to be more. You have not let out your full power, my dear, a voice suddenly said. Tatsuo stopped mid-flight, knowing that the voice came from inside her mind. Who are you? She asked gently. The voice chuckled. You'll know soon enough. Your journey with the dwarves is far from over. The agent then was gone, and Tatsuo roared un, surprised as she felt ropes being slung aorund her shape.

Everyone in the area heard the roars disappearing. Bard and his men looked up toward where they saw the dragon struggle against the rope that dragged her down. "To the dragon!" Bard shouted, and his men charged forward to the orcs and cut them down. Tatsuo hit the ground with a thud that shook the land. Smaug in his cave woke up and opened his golden eyes. Tatsuo, he thought, stood up, ran out of the cavern, and took to the air. Tatsuo groaned at the pain of falling straight to the ground.

Bard and his men had maybe cut down the orcs holding her ropes, but they had not cut the strings. She struggled as the ropes were strong and dipped in nightshade, a deadly plant whose position was enough to kill a dragon.

Smaug arrived at Erebor gasping, seeing the turmoil and death. "It's worse than I ever made," he mutters and looks aorund at the fields trying to find the black and white dragon. He quickly spots her. His eyes blaze as he sees orcs surrounding her, whipping her as if trying to wake her. Wait.... Is she dead? He thinks and dives—the people of lake town scream and duck as he swipes over them. Thorin comes running out to the battle meant, seeing his friends standing there. By now, Smaug has landed in front of the female dragon, who's trying not to fall asleep.

"What's going on?" Thorin yelled, and Balin pointed at the two dragons. "Smaug had returned," he said, and the dwarf's eyes widened. "Impossible" "look, he's killing the orcs for Tatsuo!" Fili called out, and they saw that indeed he was. The dragon snarled and whipped the orcs that tried to get close to his treasure. "Leave unless you want me to burn you!" He roared, and the remaining orcs fled—all of them. Two dragons were too much for them to handle. The only one who didn't was Azog. "Where are you going, cowards!?" He shouted to the orcs who stood upon the ridge with him.

"Away from the dragons!" Oke shouted. "They'll bring doom upon our heads!" Azog growled in defeat but stood his ground.

"We gotta get out there!" Kili yelled, and his brother, along with the other dwarves, agreed. This time Thorin didn't say anything. Back in the mountain, he had become himself again. He had become Throin. Azog atop his ledge smirks as he sees the dwarf bed thinning out. Even with Smaug's help, they're nothing n again. "They cannot hold the city. The Dwarves are almost spent." He snarled.

The battle had now raged for hours, and Throin, along with Fili, Kili...and Dwalin, rides large goats towards the ledge where Azog is. Back in Dale, Gandalf watches human spearmen and archers kill a massive troll.  "We may yet survive this." He says, and suddenly Bilbo calls. "GANDALF!" Gandalf kills an orc, then hurries over to where Bilbo is standing at the wall and watching Thorin, Dwalin, Fili, and Kili ride up a spur of the mountain to where Azog is. "It's Thorin!" Rhe halfing calls, and the grey wizard smile.

"And Fili, Kili...and Dwalin. He's taking his best warriors!" Suddenly a shadow passed overhead, and they looked up, seeing the familiar shape of Tatsuo. "What's she doing?" Bilbo asks, and Gandalf smirk, "she's going to cut the head off the snake." Smaug is flying aorund the battlefield killing orcs and goblins with his fiery breath. Atop the hill, Azog hears the sound of goat hooves, and he snarls. Thorin and Co. reach some ruins on top of the mountain, killing orcs along the way; there is a frozen river between them and where Azog is.

Legolas and Tauriel arrive back in Dale together on a horse; they charge through the streets, killing orcs on their way. They come to where Gandalf is standing.  "Gandalf!" The elf calls, but his eyes widen as he sees the giant dragon flying over Dale. "Is that....?" He trails off as Gandalf walks over to him. "Smaug, yes. Tatsuo is with Throin" Legolas's eyes grow wide; he then remembers why he came and says, "There is a second army! Bolg leads a force of Gundabad orcs. They are almost upon us!" Gandalf's eyes grow wide.

"Gundabad...This was their plan all along. Azog engages our forces, then Bolg seeps in from the north." Bilbo comes up to them, breathing hard. "Wha...the north...where is the north, exactly?!" Gandalf glanced at him. "Ravenhill." He turns and strides over to the parapets to look at the hill where Thorin and Tatsuo went; that is Ravenhill. "Ravenhill...Thorin is up there! Tatsuo too. And Fili and Kili - they're all up there!" Tauriel looks at the hill wide-eyed after hearing about her possibly love dying there.

Legolas has the same expression. No! Tatsuo can't die! His mind yells. Together, they all look out toward the top of Ravenhill, which is shrouded in mist.
