a/n: sorry for not posting but here :)

14 people sat around a long table waiting for 2 more members to turn up. Chains clanking can be heard from the distance as the door was shut, revealing a warden with a blonde detective being carried by her hand.

“So how was the time travelling, Amelia Watson?” A pink haired reaper spoke up with daggers in her eyes, the detective gave a small giggle before replying “Kronii saves my ass every time!” “But that doesn’t mean I do it because I care, you dying will cause a mass fluctuation since you’re a part of time now.” Kronii spoke with annoyance in her tone, the others just gave the two chuckles and giggles. Kronii might not be able to express her emotions because of how high her pride and ego is, but she truly cares for everyone. Everyone looked at kronii and looked at each other, Sana spoke up “Kronii-ni! Do you know about that legendary dragon?!” She said with a cheerful smile, but it made kronii freeze in her spot.

“U-uh what dragon exactly?” the warden tried to regain her composure as her heartbeat picks up its pace, “Hmmm…. I think it was called ouroboros? The name is so cool kronii-ni it matches you!” Kronii almost choked on the tea she was drinking, as her face slowly turns red. “Is that so? Well it might be a dragon but it will never match how perfect I am” the warden replied, trying to piece her pride back together and trying not to slip up to reveal her “secret” which was no longer a secret since everyone knew from boros, the little snake was couped up on top of omega’s head.

“So kronii, how’s your first case, eh?” Amelia said followed with her gremlin laugh, kronii agreed to help the detective with her cases hoping for some sort of miracle that ouroboros’ voice and tempts will die down, surprisingly it did.

That dragon that was one with her was contented seeing crime scenes as the knowledge and theories from it slowly satisfied its hunger. Kronii hoped it will be a long time before it spikes up again.

“It was fine although the killer used the blade wrong. He strikes with no calculations leading to him being caught, he should’ve hit the vital ones, it’s faster.” Kronii looked at amelia from her seat, “You looked so cool while saying “You’re under arrest, don’t move or we will be forced to shoot.” It was very formal” Amelia bantered on how kronii acted on the case, while the warden’s face heat up due to the cringe memory of her saying that, remembering she faceplanted into glass of sliding doors on the side of the house. “Well, the ouroboros thirst is solved, now onto the next one” kronii thought as she zoned out.

“Kronii? Are you alright? You’re crying” Ina spoke up as she stared at the warden with concern, kronii pulled her mind back to herself as she covered her eye that was shedding tears and then the pain from that eye hit her, it was a burning stinging sensation. The warden suddenly stood up and started to run to the teleportal space to her domain, everyone was stunned into silence, the air getting thicker as they registered what just happened.

Things fall from a wooden table as a blue haired woman stumbled over to her bathroom, Kronii opened the faucet and splashed cold water all over her face. She looks at her refection from her mirror, staring at her left eye that was hurting, seeing the golden color slowly fades to a blue one. The warden sighs as she knows she’ll get questioned at the sudden leave from the room “another problem, great...” she sighs full of tiredness as the pain swells down, she dried her face and changed into more comfortable clothes. Due to all of the things she had done today her body was exhausted so as her mind. A barn owl settles down on her window looking at the peacefully sleeping warden and then flying away after 5 minutes.

“She’s alright, she was sleeping. Probably tired!” The barn owl shapeshifted into a humanoid figure as she reassured everyone with a smile that the warden was fine.
